By far Maurice Blackburn was the best place I have worked. I had the pleasure of being mentored by an amazing Senior Associate and other Senior Lawyers. MB looked after me and ensured professional and career development. In the two years that I was employed at MB, I had the opportunity to move across a few teams, learn from the best, meet amazing barristers and work closely with the claims. MB offered performance appraisals and regular catch ups to ensure staff wellbeing and happiness. It was a great place to work.

It was such a great experience being a work experience student at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. 
I learnt that working at a law firm is not always about doing paper work. You can build strong friendships and have many different connections with individuals at your job, and that's what I realized at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers.

Did not work here for very long however, the work load is intense. To be successful at any firm required absolute dedication and unfortunately due to my school timetable and other school commitments I could not be fully dedicated to the job role.

Promotions are offered but not on any extra pay.  They put you on a secondment for 12mths.  Pile you with work until you get burnt out


Great communication skills and meaningful activities. All were friendly, professional, and highly trained. Would recommend to anyone interested in legal and social-justice projects, who works well in a structured agile department.

Working here opens a lot of doors. Some good people but overshadowed by internal politics, gossip and cliquey teams. Great benefits like extensive parental leave and additional wellbeing days

I worked for Maurice Blackburn on work experience, being a law student the staff were extremely supportive and fueled my desire to pursue a career in the area.

The pay is terrible, over worked with no support.

Management need a upgrade or further training very unprofessional 

I enjoyed working at Maurice Blackburn. good work-life balance. friendly and supportive people. almost well paid . I suggest working in here specially if you are legal person.
