I typically spent my working day assisting with the daily needs of the elderly and/or disabled. This included person hygiene, assistance with the preparation and consumption of meals, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, promoting and supporting social interactions, emotional, mental and physical support, and clinical documentation. I learned how to use several new computer programs and equipment required in the nursing field. I also improved my ability to time manage and supervise a team of staff. I worked with a very supportive team but we were unfortunately short staffed frequently. The hardest part of the job was meeting deadlines while being so short staffed- this could make the work day quite stressful. The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting and caring for all of the amazing clients I met- this was very rewarding. I also had the opportunity to train new staff and students, which I enjoyed very much.

Was such a stressfull environment to work in, I got so burn't out with dealing with constant stressfull issues that should of been dealt with by the Managers, but this place never had a stable manager. Managers were leaving before or after 3months, unpleasant place to work at, would not recommend it, unless you want to go insane.

Feeding residents breakfast, transporting them to activities, toileting, serving and feeding morning teas and special fluids.Morning programmed activities, assisting residents to dining room and help feeding residents that needed assistance. Documentation, afternoon activities, 1:1 activities assisting residents needs.

Loving  them  learn to  understand  everyone  different  care they  need a  place of full of warming  people in  its  very  challenging  place to  work with everyone my  heart  for them

i am happy with the work i do. residents are nice as are some of the workers. i enjoy giving back to the community and helping others.

Nice place to work. Had to leave because moving interstate. Close to home which was a bonus to me and my family.

masonic care Queensland overall is an alright company to work for, good hours, great pay, decent staff, overall a well organised company
