Usher down the aisles checking event tickets to confirm seating location. Advise patrons to keep bags underneath seats. Assist patrons scanning tickets at turnstiles. Use hand-held to also scan tickets at entry. Check concessions or student cards to confirm purchase of concession tickets. Assist patrons with their enquiries for example with directions to facilities and food outlets within stadium. Elevator duties, giving priority to disabled and elderly customers. Concierge duties: responsible for patrons personal belongings, lost property, enquiries with lost children and facilities. Checking tickets and opening doors for patrons at Function Rooms

Overall is okay, but not reliable as a primary source of income - pay is average at best with no penalty rates. Heavily relies on AFL events which means it will take up all of your weekends and most Fridays until about the middle of the year and then you barely get work at all. 

The work isn't necessicarily hard but can easily become repetitive and boring. Much like any other workplace and the nature of footy, you deal with a handful of angry people every shift. 

Other staff are usually nice and easy to get along with but you get moved around so much that it's hard to maintain co-worker friendship. Most team leaders are organised and good, but there are a handful with a superiority complex, and others who I have had issues with but didn't know where to report it to - the workforce and management is so large, with many of them being family or close friends with each other that you don't know where to turn. 

I have to say that more of the people work there are nice, the managers are doing properly and they never hesitate to encourage staff, and praise people. The co-workers are diverse, people are willing to help each other, or teach each other.
Because most of the time I am working in the event or function, clients are all targeted. So they have fully experienced attending function. There were not any problems dealing with them.

Head to your meeting spot, get a briefing of the area and what to expect on the day. Know who has radios incase of emegencies. Team leaders and supervisors are always around if you need help.
All staff are friendly and good to work with.
Hardest part of the job is that patrons expect you to know every part of the stadium.

it is easy job for work and life balance 
sometimes you feel more like a number than a person due to how many people work there 
often i work with people i’ve never met before even after years of working 
this can be good, but managers hardly know you and who you are

Every time l work at marvel stadiums there is always different thing to do made lot great friends and patrons they can be rough and they can be fantastic but they appreciate your work and that makes being customer service that you have achieved.

Good for part time work as you only get hours when an event or afl is on. Standing your whole shift in the cold wind and rain in the wet season. Only hard because it gets very boring.

Setting up booths and preparation of the all the things and setting schedules in prior for the next day. Management and learning new things and assisting the photographers with the photo shoots.
