Good benefit and perk . Colleague very friendly. Work is rather hectic and shift changes rapidly week after week. Working environment in casino is too much 2nd hand smoke at smoking zone. Night shift schedule to long while morning and day shift is too short. The work life balance is more for normal office hour staff. A lot of recreational activities but none can be participate due to shift work. All activities like CNY bazaar are not cater for night shift workers. HR ONE touchpoint also not cater for night shift worker. I would suggest that HR ONE should start at 7am so that the night shift workers don't have to endure and wait for 2 hours.

Good salary and benefit. Bonus is 1 of the best up to 3 months before covid-19. But advancement opportunities for male is very low. My biggest gripe has got to be the dealer rating system where supervisor will anyhow rate inconsistent to you which will effect your performance bonus. When supervisor and dealer are friends, everything will be consistent between them. 

Be prepare to work shift.You will learn to deal at least 3 games in the beginning. Management depends on who you meet during your shift. If he/she is newly promoted manager, they play by book. Any slight mistake you get demerit points which affect your performance bonus.Appraisal by supervisors depend on your relation with him/her.No work life balance as you will seldom get weekend off. I only got 1 weekend off for whole 3 years working there.

It appears that there are issues with pay equity within Marina Bay Sands. Despite having the same job title and responsibilities, expat managers were drawing higher salaries compared to local managers, and the pay gap remains significant even after the expat managers have converted to PR or SPR. While you have received increment over the years, it is disheartening to see new hires or those recently promoted being offered significantly higher salaries.

Prepare to be overflow with alot of information when you just onboard. You will tag with a mentor during your training period at least 3 months. Onboarding experience is good but you must be open to feedbacks about your performance during training period. Give yourself about 6 months to feel comfortable about the job. After that it will be an easy job. some times, you get really free.

Establish and develop relations with patrons and provide personalized service. Provide quality assistance in accommodation, transport and cashiering fields
Liaise closely with both Gaming and Non-Gaming departments’ to provide excellent service and fulfill patron needs.

After five years in Sands, I learned some basic services and learned some service procedures. The main thing is that I have to face the call and complaints from the guests every day. I also learned how to solve the complaints of the guests. My boss and my colleagues have a lot of teamwork, and it makes me learn that the team is very important.

The VIP Host role is relatively easy once you get grounded, but there's a 6 month contract once you get employed where you cannot resign or else you would have to pay back the training fees. Benefits are great are as all huge MNCs but the shift hours aren't worth it in the long run for your health.

Love working in MBS, staff and friendly and helpful. good meals for lunch, dinner and supper not forgetting breakfast, provide clean uniform daily, Good promotion if you work hard.

Depending on your area of work, it could be quite stressful and expectations are rather high from the management. But it is a very fulfilling job if you like challenges .
