Man to Man

The Acting Manager Responsibilites i learnt( co-ordinating staff roster and meal breaks, book keeping and banking, stock take and stock ordering)
Responsible for the days banking including total gross, float and change.
Independntly closing up and locking up the business at the end of the day including the safe, banking and float.
Responsible handling of food staffs
Co-ordinate staff team
Customer relations including customer service and assistance
A typical day involves opening the store and doing the book kepping along with banking of the previous day. Then doing a stock check to see what is running low and ordering that stock. Throughout the day you maintain your co workers are assisting customers to a high standard. Your on your own most of the day so your highly independent and self paced at tasks.
The hardest part of the day is when customers are slowing up and there is no more stock to receive in and merchandise.
The most enjoyable part is assisting the customers and really listening to their needs and getting them what they want. When they leave a happy shopper you know youve done your job well!

My direct Managers were actually good, very respectful but it constantly seemed as though the presentation layouts of the store they were required to display from head management was poor, constantly limited access to some parts of the store, and didn't treat their casuals with any kind of respect at all in terms of shifts, there was never any warning about when we weren't going to be put on the rosters and the like. admittedly not every Man To Man store is like that but my particular store in Erina Fair/ Erina, was, I have noticed however there is new instore Management although I haven't dealt with them at this point so I don't know if they're good or bad but as I said my instore managers when I was there were actually good and had a lot of respect and care for their staff!

I enjoyed working at Man to Man because I had met a lot of beautiful people on the journey of my career. Myself and my co- workers had such a good team work there and we always helped each other. It was like we all were family...
 I always enjoyed working hard at Man to Man, always up-to date with Merchandising and mark ups and downs and made sure stock was all out fast and all promotions was all up an running.
I have learned basically everything at Man to Man customer service skills, merchandising, rosters, stock control, banking, closing store and lots more...

The staff was lovely and great to work with. Welcomed every new employee, they taught me customer service and how to approach customers as this was my first retail job. I have learnt a lot about male clothing such as suits. Working at Man to Man was amazing, I always loved going to work and being able to serve customers and also being able to interact with others.

man to man previously closed down due to liquidation it truly was an amazing company to work for I really felt part of the company which makes me thrive as an employer to do my uttermost best

I enjoyed working with other staff. I had a great manager who new how to take care of his casual staff. I was provided a lot of hours due to my dedication at work and was rewarded hours at other stores

Great team and environment unfortunately there wasn't much room for further growth. However, the people you meet (staff and cutomers) made up for that.

great  help full team to teach the ropes of sales and customer service .very organised management to be attentive in making the staff members feel full of support .
