This company's greatest strength is its work/life balance. The majority of staffs get to work from home, with most only coming to office only one or twice a weeks. Most managers are nice and down-to-earth. But I question a lot of their decisions and experience. 

Managers rarely check on what you do, which can be a double-edged sword. Good, if you just want to get paid and do the bare minimum. Bad, if you want a career progression. Star performers are rarely recognized here. You'll just inviting yourself to more work. 

Overall morale is low due to company's constant effort to cut costs and outsourcing every job they can find. You're only safe if you're applying for a customer-facing jobs. i.e sales, customer support. Even then, be prepared to deal with a lot of inexperienced overseas staffs and possibly, angry clients due to your future overseas colleagues' repetitive blunders.

MUFG is a strong brand which attracts many potential employees.  They offer stability and continuity where other firms don't. Processes have not evolved with technology and are perpetuated by management and long term employees who do not want to change the status quo. This shaped the subservient work culture over the many years.  

Due to the age of the processes, 
the skills learned are very difficult to transfer to other firms. As a result, new staff seeking opportunities to progress their careers are disappointed with what they experience and move on to greener pastures quickly where skills are modern and developed. 

Roles would suit people who are looking for familiar patterns in work life and not actively seeking career progression.

I was hired as a casual for the administration team to process superannuation claims.
I was hired through a temp agency, the pay is very low for a casual. For the workload and expectations I do believe the pay doesn't match. 
Management tracks everything you do, you have to put into the teams chat when you are going on break and when you come back, you have to send management trackers of your work each day along with lodging it into 2 other systems.
The trainers and team leaders are not pleasant to deal with and they will encourage competition between colleagues. They have a high turnover and you will feel mentally drained after each day. You wouldn't want to stay. They expect you do complete 80 plus claims each day which is very high considering you have to access all the documents and verify ID. 

I worked here for a few months and in my time the team leaders constantly micro managed their teams, often calling you on Microsoft team mid call to yell at you to refresh holds on callers as it was messing with kpi’s, if you have other responsibilities and need to take time off they tell you it needs to be approved first - even for medical purposes, if you bother your team leader too much they decline you for career progression opportunities that they give to other employees who they favour or have flirtatious relationships with, all around awful management that makes you constantly feel put down and overworked, only stayed as long as I did because of the relationships I built with my colleagues 

I started working here, purely because I needed a job fast. I couldn't manage a month here, it was so depressing. All the more experienced staff were constantly complaining of being over burdened and uncared for by the company. There were no perks to the job, even though this is one of the biggest financial companies in Australia. The contract was bare minimum, I had more perks when I was a teenager working in fast food. Even the Xmas party was just cheese after work. 

Very high turn over, when I wanted to leave the manager tried several times to stop me even though it was clear I had no love for this position, they just needed bums in seats. 

The CEO despite being one of the highest paid ,wanted to stiff employees of a fair raise. 

If you want to be underpaid, treated like a sub-rate citizen and never listened to, this is the place for you. They put unachievable expectations on you and belittle you at every opportunity. They will present themselves as professional while they are doing it so they are legally covered.
They will make you unhappy then force you to resign if you don't like it.
Link knows how to protect themselves against staff grievances; push you to resign if you don't accept it. Not a good environment at all.

management does not even get 1 star it is a negative mind set of the managers as they play favourites and could not even run a game of checkers without help from other managers. staff are treated as numbers and people. even when you leave it is stressful to obtain a reference as they will not deal directly with staff and request you contact them by email with a consent for a reference check, stupidest rule i have ever heard of. do not work there, chastised for helping other staff who may be struggling and are to scared to approach their managers

Definitely glad to have left this company, they do not respect or value good staff just wants to use staff. Training was rushed and put us on calls after 2 weeks with barely any knowledge of the fund we were working for and then not happy with performance because they didn’t train us properly. Management was definitely not good. Toilet breaks here was a no no, only allowed to go 3 times a day during our breaks, say we can go whenever we need to but then say we are adults and can control the amount we drink and go to the restroom which is ridiculous and definitely stressful not only for my health but mentally as well. 

Working for Link Group which are superannuation administrators they are the lowest paying within the industry but it is good to get your foot in the door and get the relevant experience and training for the industry.
If you work well and take control of your learning you can move around the company but there really isn't much chance for pay increases.
Their parental leave is probably the worst I have ever seen.
For areas like admin where you don't have to speak to anyone they should offer more flexibility like work from home or offering of part time.

Its good for experience and your foot in the door to the industry but not for long term.

Terrible management couldn't even be saved by coworkers because it's a revolving door of new faces that the people there longer than 6 months have to pick up the slack for. Zero potential for advancement unless you're best friends with the management team.
I have seen people get their 2% salary increase during review while others don't and it has nothing to do with performance, it's all about how much your manager likes you.
If you can work at maccas, I would pick it over this place.
