I have a routine every day. It began with topping up the coffee machine, logging into my assigned laptop and assisting my fellow colleagues with filing, scanning, printing, reception duty and supervision of some adult learners. Occasionally I would reorganise some files and maintain a clear, clean environment. I learnt that this company is a very welcoming one and I enjoyed the friendly clients and colleagues. The management was very well sorted. Everyone had their roles according to their skill levels and followed them. The workplace culture was very multicultural, warm and relaxed. It was a really rewarding place to work at. The hardest part of the job was when I had completed all my necessary tasks and I had nothing to do. However, the most enjoyable part of it was seeing the adult learners recognise me after I had been in contact with them. I was overjoyed of how much they appreciated my help.

working with MTC Australia has allowed me to gain exceptional Office administration skills and Customer Service Skills. I currently am responsible for a Case Load of clients, where I am required to conduct an Induction into Workplace Health and Safety and monitor them whilst they attend to their activity requirements of Volunteer work. I am also required to build and marinating working relations with community organisations within Sydney to act as Hosts for our clients to volunteer. I am responsible for signing up new hosts monthly and conducting Risk assessments to ensure they meet Industry Standards. I also have trained client in employability skills that assist them in gaining future employment.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Helping unemployed to get trained for employment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Writing the lesson plans that meet the clients Units of study.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly and great collaboration.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive at work and greeted by the staff and clients.  Begin the lesson writing the outline of the lesson on the board so the clients can see what they will be studying during the lesson.  Implementing the lesson plan using computers, TV and work books. After the lesson completing administration duties.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Empathy, they treat people near retirement who have paid taxes all their lives like rubbish, collaboration that’s is rubbish, they micromanage their staff.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management’s no respect for older people.


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very intense.  You have a degree but are treated with no respect.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Over worked and under paid with limited time for lunch breaks.

It was an Interesting experience, specially working with the underprivileged people and able to assist them improving in life. Peers were always good and very committed to assist the clients but unlikely the culture of the company and some of its management were not on the same tune of the Consultants, Trainers and some management. Nevertheless, the experience gained is great and it allows personal and professional growth.

Best working Environment and Facilities. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not at al stressful, rather MTC ensures a very supportive work environment for the employees.

very much supportive and encouraging environment. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
each day encourages the staffs to work more with dedication.

Typical day was from 8-5 pm and involved managing teams of staff across 9 locations.

The hardest part of the job was supporting centre managers to develop and apply effective people management skills
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with dedicated staff.

Liaising with Manager for problem solving
Making appointments

I found the support staff and my superiors enthusiastic, open minded and very helpful. 
MTC Australia had a culture of inclusiveness and support. 
I enjoyed my time with MTC Australia.

Helping out newly arrived migrants and refugees provided satisfaction. Helping these people relocate and settle into a new country with bare minimum English skills was very satisfying.
