MaxiTRANS has great potential as a business, has a wealth of great people and knowledge but is able to achieve anything above mediocre/average due to its poor management culture and business planning. Senior management is like a small gentleman’s club who look after their own agenda before anything else and will blame everyone underneath them for their failures which are normally caused by their lack of clear direction or constant chaotic change. CEO is completely out of touch with the normal day to day running of the business and is often taking their frustrations out on people who are so far removed from the issue it leaves them bewildered. Pay is lower than average but a positive is there are some flexibility with hours or work arrangements.

With the right people in the senior management team who spend the time to understand the challenges, resources and tools required to plan for success and value building honest high performing teams, MaxiTRANS will go far, but that is not happening currently

Stressful working environment with low level of support from management.  While being paid wages each worker is expected to have tooling equivalent to a subcontractor.

Some coworkers were supportive and willing to see a job become successful while others where happy to watch you make a mistake and the job becomes a problem.  Ineffective management that was searching for mistakes rather than effectively tooling the workshop.

Great and knowledgeable coworkers help you grow. However, your growth is limited as people who have more experience tend to work several years and even retire in their jobs and that makes it really difficult for new people to grow within the business. The management needs to get a little less political and focus on the actual work.

The staff have either been there for more than 10 years or less than 1 year. The general managers keep hiring and firing people. They don't actually understand the business and they just want to impress the chief officers.

Get given a job to do under supervision instructions, then once jobs you get told job was done wrong re work is out of control due to the lack of communication revolving door for suoervisors that don't seem to last this is done to cover senior managements mistakes 

They sacked me because of a covid test , one of the supervisors hated me and didn’t give me a fair go. 
Was ment to learn how to weld instead I was installing caster wheels on trolleys and stands 

Great place to work. Various different tasks through form from welding to assembling different parts of trailers. I worked on an assembly line which started the the trailer from scratch and sometimes would build it all the ways right through till the end

I Learnt a lot on having attention to detail, using tools and taking pride in my work, good opportunity with being the oh&s officer and really gained momentum on how to work with a team aswell as an individual leader

Good bunch of people to work with. Very helpful and understanding and willing to help solve any problems if you have any to help make your life easier and more enjoyable at work 

Exiting place of employment. Promoting safe workplace standards. Being employed by MaxiTRANS was a highlight of my working career.
