I unfortunately was not able to stay at this job as long as i wanted to due to an injury, but it was a really great experience and i feel like i learnt a lot about how to manage fastpass work conditions. getting into contact with the management after my injury was crazy. i dont think i ever ended up having anyone get back to me although i called daily for 2 weeks and emailed my doctors letter to them. there was a really lovely woman who had been working there for quite a while who i assumed was the manager of the area i worked in but no, she was just another team member but for the work she did and the time she had been there, she really should not have been on the level everyone else was on, so i guess a warning that you may be given extra responsibilities and tasks, enough that a promotion would probably be required, and you may not get that. overall, i'd work there again if it wasn't for my back. doing nightshift i think i was getting $27 an hour, at 16. so its very worth it

Working at Lush was fantastic experience. The company really upheld their values in every possible way, especially through treating their workers fairly. My pay was the highest I’ve ever been paid, including Saturday, Sunday and public holiday rates. The company would always give out gift packs to every staff member so we could try the products and a 50% off discount. The job itself was fairly simple, greeting customers, stocking store, cleaning where necessary, giving customers demos of the products, etc. however, some of the older staff became quiet rude towards the newer staff in the end, especially through singling us out for talking when they would all be talking out back. Just basic hypocritical workplace issues. Also, during Christmas the store was extremely busy and stressful, it was really overwhelming at times.

As this job was a great experience, amazing pay, great people and fun, it was IMPOSSIBLE to contact my boss over the phone. Another problem I encountered, it is required in your contract to speak english while working, which many ignored. This becomes a huge problem as team work is very big in lush and everything there is able to speak english but some choose not to. This made a few complications for me, but besides that it was great working there. You get use to the smell super quick. Very fast pace job, requires people skills as you do a lot of team work. Pretty easy going job, you get bonuses if your departments weekly goals are achieved.

Lots of hours for a Christmas Casual, you’re provided lots of training on products, company history, customer service and everything in between to become a perfect sales assistant. I was assigned zones during my shifts and would assist customers in that zone (ie shower products, bath products, skincare, etc) before passing them onto the next sales assistant. Good pay for a casual, good discount, you smell like LUSH all the time so that’s a bonus. My Christmas Casual contract lasted for four months, and my manager has remained a good reference for future jobs. 

Honestly probably the worst management experience i've ever had with all my jobs, literally would be crying on break because the manager was so horrible then so lovely one minute to another, which made me never feel fully comfortable and felt like i was being ignored.

On the flip side, all other fellow co-workers were lovely and absolutely loved the brand and what it stands for, i always smelt good and felt comfortable within my coworkers beside manager.

Just very confusing management style and could be a bit boring and confusing at most times.

I enjoyed working for lush it was a nice experience there.

The management was very supportive.
The fellow worker were very nice as there were people from everywhere. 
The hardest part was to produce huge numbers of products on a particular day and that too on a hot day. because of the warm weather it was really hard make the soft mix into the products.
The most enjoyable part was the different fragrances of different products.

I was a big fan of Lush before I started to work there, it was a dream come true when I became a christmas casual. 
As a casual you were never really given enough shifts to live off and they were never that long. To pick up extra shifts I worked in other shops who's cultures seemed to go against what Lush stood for and were all about pressure sales. As my time there continued I found the environment of the place to be one in which you had to walk on egg shells. 
I still stand by their mission of animal, environmental and human equality and continue to exclusively use their products however I would not work for them again.

I loved working collaboratively as a Production Assistant for a small amount of time. The work, although fast-paced, is competitive and encourages individual improvement. The management is at times dodgy and some things can get lost in translation when you're working with a lot of different nationalities, therefore communication breakdown happens often. However, an amazing environment and company which offered many benefits to working there- such as security, free products and employee consideration. Overall, very nice and beneficial for all types of people.

I worked in department of gift wrapping there  I used to wrapped the finished product.  from there I got a experience of work in a fast paced environment. management system of the company is well managed. they give training for two weeks so it make easy to understand the work character so it makes us to perform well. the hardest part of the job is the dust inside the company. it was  team work  I really enjoyed workers all of them where came from different country and they have different culture it was really fantanstic.

Working as a Lush Production Assistant was a highly enriching experience. My role involved supporting various aspects of the production process, with a focus on production planning and materials management. Through effective teamwork, I contributed to meeting deadlines and resolving issues promptly. Lush operates in an ethical and sustainable manner, fostering a sense of pride and dedication to customer satisfaction. This experience significantly enhanced my skills in production management, providing valuable insights and growth opportunities.
