Lombard The Paper People

I loved working for Lombards! The employees were great! Very helpful when I started working, patient and fun to hang out with and are very supportive! The manager was great too! Very understanding and fair!

I wish I could have stayed working there but wasn't able to due to the fact there was times during the year they were very quiet and did not have enough work hours.

Would highly recommend working there!

Until recent changes, working for Lombard was wonderful! The whole team were friends, we helped each other out and worked together. Most of the team left for personal reasons.
The current staff  unfortunately have not had enough (any ) training and no one is willing to help anyone but themselves.
Only work here if you are willing to forego your family life and sanity.

Found management was not an equal opportunity employer and favored certain workers over others, in other words some workers were treated better than some. Bad management, this person needs more training in this field to succeed in a management position or should not be in such a position.

FAST BUSY PACED ENVIROMENT. FRIENDLY STAFF, FAIR MANAGEMENT, TEAM MEMBERS ARE NEW FOUND FAMILY/FRIENDS. HARDEST PART OF THE JOB IS LEAVING AND THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART IS BEING ABLE TO DRESS UP ONCE A MONTH AND HAVE A STORE PARTY WHICH OFFERS A FREE BBQ AND FREE BALLOON TO ALL THE CHILDREN

I was the store manger of the party store,a very busy store with strict deadlines to be met. A wonderful atmosphere for staff and customers alike.The higher management was extremely structured which made for an enjoyable working environment.

Not much to say, 
Under a lot of pressure and staff weren’t overly friendly. Always felt on edge and like I was being watched like a hawk and never good enough.
Managers were quiet rude and racist actually... making fun of customers behind their backs and gossiping while sitting on their phones all day.

The job itself is fun but the management are the killer! 
New employees never stay long and the regional manager would rather keep hiring new people than address the actual issues. It’s a shame because it could be a great, thriving business if they actually tried.

The staff turnover is a clear indicator that something is not right with this company. High expectations with minimal training. Higher management do not care about staff only the money they make. Stay away.

Working for Lombard the paper people was the best 4 years in the working industry i ever had, i made life long friends and had great customer relationships.
it was a fun energetic job and every day was a great day.

Friendly team and nice environment. Worked part time. Warehouse runs smoothly and most the customers are easy to deal with. Need a car tho as its not near transport
