Some genuine and capable senior leaders, committed to fostering excellence, building engagement, and holding themselves and others accountable. The previous CEO was a ‘people first’ visionary leader, but can’t comment on the new CEO.

However, sadly some of the senior leaders and managers operated in silos / didn’t collaborate and had a tendency to blame others and engage in other behaviors that demonstrated insecurity, thereby missing opportunities for improvement and undermining trust. 

Some teams were clicky, and did not walk the talk in terms of espoused commitment to inclusivity. Indeed there was a lot of talk about diversity and inclusion while I was there around neurodiversity, but any real or imagined difference was clearly not valued, welcome or accommodated. 

I hope that those leaders who were genuinely capable and committed are able to ‘enlighten’ the others over time. 

Working at Lindt as a waiter/ waitress or a Barista is fun and easy, great if you have previous experience as a barista. Otherwise they train you to be the best barista and chochlatier.
I learned/ improved on my coffee art from my colleagues during the short time I was working at Lindt as a casual.
Personally I didn't like the management. However, the workplace culture and the whole team was pretty supportive and friendly.

The satisfaction of helping people to find the right chocolate 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Christmas time ,not enough staff >Having to make hampers and not enough room to do it in 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Was good , Easy to have holiday when we needed ,Except Christmas time way to busy 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Opening bar , Serving , Filling closing

Busy at certain times, overall friendly and approachable management, great working team. Excellent training and upskilling opportunities. Cleaning of the equipment and stock is done at a fast pace and can become monotonous but the more it is done the quicker you are at completing these tasks. Management make sure you get all the breaks you are entitled to and are always offered a complimentary hot drink if you like with your lunch/snack. 

Good to start early at work and go home early to do some stuff at home.
Learn to new machine how it works and how to have perfect or good quality of chocolate.
Management giving fair in terms of salary and give training and guidelines before starting a new job.
In terms of culture in the workplace is fine and equal with others.
For me there is no hard part of the job as long as they trained us and give guidelines what to do.
Giving good salary and enjoying the work.

Lindt is a company that work hard to offer the best conditions for its employees. Hard work is evident and managers tend to reward it with some exceptions. In my case, I had the opportunity to learn from my co-workers and the business. Lindt was a big help while I was studying, but unfortunately, due to my location, I could not continue working there because I was looking to start my professional career.

worked here afew years ago not much to say but for a chocolate factory it’s very hot inside and it’s very loud too  long term staff are up themselves and just look at you like your a piece of c r a p management not to bad the manager i had was pretty nice it’s a average paced definitely not fast after an hours it gets very boring couldn’t wait to go home 

I worked for 12 months and at the start it was fine but after a while rosters were unrealistic and unreasonable.  Sometimes only given 3and a half hours a week to live on. Management not very professional and head office very narrow minded.  Some people I worked with where great and I loved what I did and customers alway happy.  I was forced out at the end because of my age.

it was a normal packaging of chocolates. I have learned here and known the different varieties of Lindt chocolates. It was a small team of workers so can easily get them known by their names.The hardest part of this job was the lifting.Most enjoyable part of this job was the good relationship with the management.

Was okay at first, then once you get to know them they are awful - constantly moaning about others! awful work culture and some of them get away with so much...very unfair employer! If you have been there for years then you are looked after, if not then I would forget working there! Manager was awful about everyone...to many opinions!
