Lindsay Transport is not the old "Lindsay Brothers", so if you don't mind being a number then this is a great place to work. Don't be looking for a promotion either or look at any position other than the position you are hired to do. Once a truck driver you will remain a truck driver. The money is good and you will know when you are going to be home but your driving is micro managed to the point of being harrassed over small incidents (like doing 2 to 3km over the speed limit). Many of the depot staff have no respect for you because they see drivers come and go, so don't expect to make any friends or any help when you start. You have to find your own feet.

No culture and lots of bullying from senior staff that hr ignore

Very stressful dealing with irate people that are equally stressed about conditions

Recently lost my job with no explanation of why which gave me no chance to improve in areas I may have needed to "lift my game". Was also informed my 6 month probation period will not be renewed.
Funny that I never signed anything informing me I was on a 6 month probationary period. Still a great place to work. Would return if I was asked.

work from 8:30am - 6:30pm Monday - Friday and 8-12 on Saturdays.  Travel to Innisfail every day form Gordonvale so I have 45min travel time to and from each day. 

The hardest part of the job is making sure all truck are loaded with the correct fruit on time and making sure the other employees are doing the loads correctly.  

Each day is a new day with new challenges which makes the job enjoyable.

there is a lot of workplace bullying in this work place if you work in the office, I never want to work for this company again and i wouldn't recommend people to apply here either i was only there for 8 weeks and every single day the girls made me feel left out and not part of the team and when i bought this up with my manager she did nothing about it, she told me with is how it works here you either take it or leave it  so i handed in my 2 weeks notice on the spot.

Toxic, demeaning, never remembering all the times you said YES. Only the one time you said No!!!

Arduous, unappreciated, disregarded!

Very toxic culture. Blame is rife. You're not good enough or fast enough. Unless you're in "the circle" you're ostracised and treated with contempt. Overworked to the highest degree. Pay is dismal for the effort you put in. Management favours certain people and excludes the rest. Definitely seen as a number who they legally get rid of if they don't like you.

Allocators inexperienced to many bosses .to many chiefs not enough indians, the biggest revolving door transport company in Australia .some good drivers stay more for the convenience than the pay. The company has no idea of what drivers are looking for .Over all its a thankless poorly run company with little to no communication .

Lazy workers mistreat new workers while management laughs off and gets you fired if you stand on ya ground with honesty.

Torture 
Bullying and harassment 
No equality only division 

It’s good if you get in with bosses but they expect a lot and don’t deliver on there end and a lot of Mumbo jumbo it’s good hours but not a lot of training or chances to upgrade
