Leor In Home Early Learning

Leor gave me the opportunity to love my job again! 
I was ready to give up my career in childcare as I worked in daycare centres and playgroups for around 5 years which led me to be unhappy. I am originally from the UK who has come over to Australia on a 1 Year Working Visa and Leor was able to give me full time hours within a week of being employed! 
With Leor I have had the opportunity to gain more experience and learn new skills when working with special needs children, I have fun and exciting sessions when working with all age groups
After a few months of working as Educator for Leor I had the opportunity to grow in my career by taking the role as an Education Assistant on a part time basis and then still work part time as an Early Childhood Educator. 
We have the best support system from our Operations Team which is very professional, have great communication, provides regular training to support the Educator needs, amazing support off our Lead Educator who helps with all the planning and programming and if we have any issues with the Families our Family Liaison Officer is always there to support.

The theory behind Leor is so meaningful and precious. However, when it comes to practice you will see how the most important values of the company can be easily ignored by the management. For example, if a family needs support but they doesn't bring considerable amount of money to the company, they will not get enough support. And as an educator, if you want to survive, you should keep in mind that FAMILY is NOT the priority rather what Leor Management wants which is very disappointing! 
Besides, as an educator you are expected to spend many unpaid hours preparing for each session with families. Often, you need to travel over and hour to see the families and the educator is not paid for the travel cost.
The only good thing is about working in Leor is that you learn a lot because you need to do everything that is done in childcare setting by a team just by yourself!

Leor is a company that I am extremely proud to work for. Not only is my work meaningful, rewarding and worthwhile, but I am also able to look after myself and have the flexibility that I need to have a good work/life balance. Working with just one child as opposed to ten children in a child care setting, is a dream! All the learning can be tailored to that child's needs, goals and interests. On top of all these benefits, the management and support staff are exceptional. They are so supportive, always available and provide many opportunities for training, educational support and inspiration. Resources are provided and you have the autonomy to plan your own learning sessions. It is a great work culture to be a part of. I wish I had found Leor sooner.

Leor offers a fantastic opportunity to families that may not be able to access care for a number of reasons.  Giving me the opportunity in Educating and offering children an Early Education at home has enabled me to use my expertise in this field and help children grow and learn.  Also giving children the one on one contact has been important.
Leor is a great company to work for, the management team is so supportive and encouraging.  They acknowledge the hard work the staff put in and encourage input from all of their Educators. Educators are given great support and opportunities, through one on one and group zoom meetings and  Professional Development opportunities to enable Educators to extend their knowledge.

Some of the children who are most vulnerable need our help and support. Therefore our educators are trained to provide quality learning opportunities for these children and guide their developmental needs through a tailored curriculum. With regular team support, ongoing professional development and building close relationships with families, we all work together to meet the needs of each child. This motivates us everyday to succeed!

I am very happy and grateful to be part of the Leor team. The company offers training through workshops and frequent courses. For me, communication between management and educators is very important and useful, and I can find it at Leor.

Working with fewer children gives me the opportunity to do more quality work.

My experience with Leor has given me a range of opportunities to make a difference in children's lives. Throughout my time with Leor, I have gained  knowledge, experience and skills when working  with children with additional needs through tailored holistic programs. I love that the company is 100% child-focused and that we as the staff can work one-on-one with the child to support their developmental needs. Management is easy to communicate with and SUPER flexible! Work-life balance has never been better!

Leor has given me the opportunity to share and utilise my skills and experience with other educators and families who we support.
It's wonderful to work within a team that is passionate about quality early childhood education and it's empowering knowing that Leor is giving families choices that they wouldn't have otherwise- but deserve.
