I started with LSG in August and now Less than 3 months into working for them, I now understand why people dislike them so much and their previous client let them go. They say that communication between the employees and the agency is the key to everything running smoothly. This isn't entirely true. On multiple occasions, people, including myself, have contacted LSG and have not gotten a reply back. This is in regards to not being able to work due to emergencies, and have been met with being guilt tripped into having to work. I have witnessed someone being forced to come back to work after having a stroke and passing out on site inside the warehouse. I am currently dissatisfied with the lack of communication from this agency and the way they are handling and running their employment. This past week they've cancelled all my shifts from Tuesday to friday. On wednesday we were never notified that we were cancelled and came into work. They sent us a text on Thursday saying that, that shift and friday are both cancelled, and that they will confirm the shifts for next ASAP. It is now sunday and still no confirmation. On top of that, while we haven't received a confirmation text, we see this add for the Job that we're doing go up on this site. They like to beat around the bush a leave their employees hanging, rather than being straight up and sending a simple text telling us they have let us go. Everyone else has received their shifts for next week. 
They say they're desperate for workers, but they're the ones that keep firing them. I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND.
5/10 would recommend working for them. Only because the pay is good and the actual people that work in the actual warehouse doing the heavy work are some of the most amazing people you'll ever meet 


I use to work for them nearly a year. They are such a horrible agency do not work for them! They will threaten their employees, make them come to work or else they will fire them even though they are casual? Terrible communication, for instance they never answered the phone or messages in regards about a shift. Always canceled your shifts for no reason at all. Twice they canceled my shifts for two weeks. It's actually so funny that their former client dropped them because that's how bad of an agency they are. they will bully and threaten you until you are either fired or you basically quit. I find it so hilarious that they are showing off on Instagram that they are a great agency and they are doing so well for them selves when really they are nothing more than a disgusting agency treating their employees like they are nothing. I'm so glad I quit!

Honestly, my experience with LSG has been an absolute pleasure. Its completely biased as I work there, in the management team - However since the first day I started working there, I have never stopped learning all facets of a business, I have never felt so much connectedness with the rest of the team who feels like family, and I have never felt so empowered by the a managing director every.single.day. 

Call it biased, but for the internal team - every single person at LSG should call themselves lucky, because labour hire does not get more fun, cool and collected, flexible, and enjoyable as we all have it. 

I make sure I tell my team every day.

Absolutely adore the workplace I’m currently working for with LSG however what I do find frustrating is that I was very transparent about my availability and was advised they could be catered for however I’m finding the times I was told would be my start and finish times are very few and far between and my start and finish times cut into the hours I’m not actually available(luckily I have been able to pull strings to get help with my children) 
I was also told shifts were going to be consistent but again that hasn’t been the case either I do understand the work needs to be spread around I would have been totally happy knowing it may only be a few days of work a week but I feel there needs to be more transparency from LSG 

Weird interview setting, looked like it was under construction. Had one person interviewing a whole line of people, so the wait was long. First day, the manager was very late to orientation.

Overall bad experience with this agency. I chose a casual position for the flexible hours. Was very prompt to accept all shifts given to me, but on the one instance that I declined offered shifts due to sickness, I was met with hostility via phone call. Decided to resign soon after and find a better company.

LSG team has been excellent in communicating about shifts and other aspects of the job (safety, clock-in/out, change job site, hours, day off request, etc.) They provide constant work, and always try to come up with solution for the workers when the warehouses are in quiet periods. They are a great agency to work with.

Hardest part is wrapping, be ready to sweat in summer. Enjoyed talking to people but dont recommend because you'll be working with electronics so not much work since most it will be small items, even in the busy period.

If the place is small & seems too relaxed get out the minute you step in. Don't waste your time unless you are looking  for another job &  don't have another offer already.

Change in managers.  Last two weren’t very nice.  Had disagreements with the last two. One resigned and wasn’t just unpleasant with me, others had similar run ins with her. Last one was a bit uncaring as to my situation even though for months had done all the overtime that was offered, then needed a few days off, was sent a not very nice message then didn’t hear from them again for more work.  

Was employed under LSG , and whilst I was working, they had terrible communication with employees, they did not respond to any text messages or calls. 

On one instance, I was unavailable for work and they threatened letting me go, so they were basically were forcing me to work if I wanted to keep the job (Casual position).

Workplace was great, agency was not very good, would not recommend at all.

Working with Labour Solutions Group is an absolute pleasure. They provide steady shifts (with enough notice), opportunities to further your knowledge and skills (e.g. working in various departments), and ultimately set you up for success in the workforce. Staff are always friendly and understanding, and communications with their admin team are a breeze!
