behind the times. Like stepping into the industry 20 years ago. Staff are all replaceable. They need to look after their staff better! No/low budgets. New centres look fancy, but they don’t look after them once they are established. Highest staff turn over and lowest enrolments I have ever seen. 
Small toxic management culture, who are always to busy to support centres. There are so many better places that will support you. Owner seems so genuine, this company could be amazing if management changed hands. 


I manage 10-15 staff, I believe I have a great team, I've learned to be patient, understanding but firm, my instincts help me alot in my position - helping and reassuring staff, parents, guardians and carers. The hardest part of my job would be the responsibility I have to ensure the safety of all children in our care - reporting children at risk!!
The most enjoyable part of my position is working with children and families from all walks of life, gives me a sense of pride to see them all achieve!

I am currently an Early Childhood Teacher at one of the amazing Lead centres.
I enjoy coming to work each day and knowing that if I need support, the management team and fellow educators are there for me. I have been with the company for over three years now and I have seen a huge growth in my self-confidence it is great to feel appreciated for all the hard work that I put in every day. 

The Educators are so lovely and caring, the children seem to have so much fun there and working just a few hours was an awesome experience. The Educators would dance and sing with the children and have them all in a routine. None of the children looked distressed in any way I think the hardest apart about being there was when it was time for me to leave.

I regret to say that my experience at this company has been quite disappointing. The absence of support from management, coupled with poor communication and overall deficiencies in management skills, has significantly impacted my perception of the organization. Based on my encounters, I would not recommend this company to prospective employees.

I found that I was given an average review by Lead Childcare, particularly in regards to my arrival and departure times, although I was early every day and left only after I was sure that there was nothing more that needed to be done, often later than my stated time. As this was unpaid work, I think it was unfair that I were not given a decent review.

As someone who is passionate about the Early Childhood industry it has been incredible to work for a company that return the same dedication that employee's give to the company. Through out my time I have been supported to upskill opening up incredible career pathways. 

I enjoyed working at Lead the community culture we had with all the parents and surrounding business was great. Interacting with the parents and their children was a pleasant experience.

Only been working here a month, already enjoy it and fit in. The Burpengary centre has a new manager so it's now becoming a better centre to work at. Staff are welcoming and lovely.

Everyday was one and the same worrying about making ratio, if the children would be feed acceptably, if ones lunch break would be remembered, if one will be able to leave as indicated on the roster.
