**A Disappointing and Unprofessional End to My Employment**

I am writing this review to share my experience with Kirnari community services that ultimately terminated my employment without providing any clear reasons or opportunities for improvement through training.

* **Coworkers:** The team I worked with was supportive and collaborative, creating a positive work environment.
* **Company Culture:** The company fostered a sense of community and inclusivity among employees.

* **Lack of Communication:**  The primary issue I encountered was a severe lack of communication from management. Feedback was scarce, and performance expectations were often unclear.
* **No Training or Onboarding:**  I was not provided with adequate training or onboarding upon starting my role, which made it difficult to fully understand my responsibilities and meet expectations.
* **Abrupt Termination:** My employment was terminated without any prior warning or discussion of performance concerns. There was no opportunity given to address any issues or improve my work.
* **Lack of Transparency:** The reasons for my termination were never explicitly stated, leaving me confused and frustrated.


My experience with Kirinari was ultimately disappointing due to the lack of communication, guidance, and un professional courtesy shown during my termination. While the company culture and team were positive aspects, the negative experience surrounding my termination overshadows any positives.

I would not recommend Kirnari to others seeking a supportive and transparent work environment. The lack of communication and abrupt termination demonstrate a lack of respect for employees and their contributions.

I hope this review helps others make informed decisions about their employment.


The company does not invest in it's staff!
They provide minimal training (if you receive it at all).

New staff arent given appropriate inductions and are thrown into accommodation or other areas of the company with out doing medication training or knowing how to access Kirinaris apps.

New staff are arriving for their buddy shift's, and the staff that are on shift, aren't aware that they have a induction.
Frontline staff are expected to train new staff resulting in short cuts being made, and the incorrect information being passed on.

New staff are expected to know and understand how to support a person with complex needs from 2 short buddy shifts and told were to locate a person's support documents, with out given the knowledge of how to interpret the information. 

The culture amongst frontline staff is poor due to most staff feeling unsupported or have been lied to from management who have been put in positions with little to no management skills. 

They are more worried about how the company is viewed by the public then providing adequate facilities to the people they are supporting (this includes appropriate toilet facilities).

There is a "as and them" attitude from management.

My work consisted of helping the disabled to live their lives to the fullest within the community or in their homes.
I learned that kindness and caring goes a long way towards others achieving their goals.
I was lucky in that our management was very good and had a positive influence on my work. My co-workers were also good people.
The hardest part of the job was when my client had behavioral issues. I was able to leave work at work though and not bring the emotions home.
I enjoyed working with my clients and seeing them stretch themselves to their fullest potential with my help. On the whole I had very good clients and when they were appreciative to me for the help that I could give them, then I felt rewarded.

I worked for Kirinari for over a year. I loved the clients and the work but management are hopeless. No communication. no training which leaves staff feeling incompetent in giving the best care possible to clients. management were only worried about their holidays , when you brought a concern to them , they still did nothing. A lot of staff there are only in it for a pay check and aren't at all warm or supportive people. I became depressed working for such a horrible company, it became a very toxic and competitive workplace for shifts and hours. there was never any guarantee of shifts each fortnight so could never budget anything. I think its one of those companies that once they became big, they stopped caring or they need real management, not people who think their managers.

What is the best part of working at the company?
All staff were amazing, they actually cared about their staff, always had their backs and really cared about the clients. I've done this job since 2014, this company made me really love my job. It was the best 5 years of my career. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The decline in hours was the only stressful part. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Always had their staff's back, never any judgement, always positive and they would never let you down when support was needed. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Visiting my clients, doing my tasks, keeping my clients company, supporting all their needs and even enjoy the company of their pets.

I worked for Kirinari for over a year. I loved the clients and the work but management are hopeless. No communication. I think its one of those companies that once they became big, they stopped caring.

I have just started with this company, and I find it very supportive and friendly! Setting up is a bit complicated, but you are guided by instruction.
Easy to communicate with and work with you.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No stress. Perhaps the set up is a little complicated! Ask for help and you will get it! Staff are great and supportive.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Appears to be calm and structured. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's like spending the day with friends. Clients are great so far, and I have a say about who and how far I travel. Very approachable management

Working with the clients is very rewarding

There was bullying in the workplace 
There was favouritism in the workplace 
There was also sabotage in the workplace

There is not much support given to employees by management 
There is a toxic environment

Usually busy throughout whole shift

KCS does not provide a supportive work environment. Staff are expected to know how to work with clients after just one buddy shift. HR does not take complaint seriously. SCHADS award was dismmised depiste the company not having their own enterpise agreement. Leave entilments were not paid on time, the company did not ensure adequate breaks. The company steals from their particpants, billing hours when these particpants are away. Toxic culture from team leaders, services delivery mangers and higher up.

The friendliness & understanding across all levels of staff. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing out of the ordinary as it is a stressful occupation

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very good. No in-house bad culture. Very pleasant culture.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Supporting autistic clients in their day-to-day activities
