- there is a lot of staff gossip 
- while there I never received dementia training despite the home i worked for being a dementia home 
- manual handling sub par no demonstration on rolling residents in bed, how to put a hoist sling on or different types of sling
- staff are treated like equipment so much so their staff room doubled up as not just a hairdressers but a storage cupboard 
- long shifts where your allowed leftovers if you are fortunate enough that there is anything left 
- in 6 months  I received no supervisions 
- I had 2 shadow shifts before I was left to get on with the job with minimal support. 
I would not recommend working for this company unless you want to feel like a work horse. 

Great work ethic, atmosphere and environment. Really love being part of the Kingsley team.  

I love the fact that we treat the residents the same way we would treat our own family. So it's doesn't feel like being at work at all, it actually feels like an extension of my family life. 

I have never felt out of place. I thought l would be lonely and homesick, since l was relocating from Africa, more than 12 000kms away. 

From day one, l just felt a sense of belonging. Everybody made me feel welcome, and at home. I love my new family. 

Kingsley is a great company to work for. 

Hours suit me and my home life.
We have had  lot of changes of management over the last few years, some really great some not so good. 
Operations managers do listen to concerns, they are all approachable.


Typical work day is full
We are given e- learning. 
We have a good home manager. 
The home has a jolly atmosphere. 
The hardest part of the job is having time to get all the work done.  
When you get gratitude from the home residents. 
The atmosphere is pleasant the residents make it very while. 

As a member of the group (Kingsley Health Care), I feel supported, always supported. There are so many things to learn and develop staff professional and personally. My experience working with Kingsley is remarkable, enjoyable and full of positive challenges.

My job role is demanding, however I work with a friendly and supportive team. I feel supported by my Manger when I need reassurance and guidance.
The home has a lovely homely feel and to see resident's happy and content within their day is what myself and the team are here to achieve.

I really enjoy my job and the people I work with. I love making the residents happy and doing lots of different activities that they enjoy doing. It's happy place to work

Lovely place to work, very supportive staff team and you can tell the company really cares for all its residents. Feels more like a family run workplace. 

I've been working at Kingsley for over 15 years now, so I can say quite honestly that it's one of the best employers to work for in the area.
