I've had a fantastic experience working at King Living. The company is deeply committed to creating a positive work environment and values both personal and professional growth. I work as a sales consultant for King Living. I come to work everyday knowing that even if my day is sometimes very busy, it’s a very rewarding role because I am showing clients new and creative ways to use the furniture that they are buying for their home.
I understand that people are investing in their future. It’s not just furniture. If my clients don’t LOVE the furniture, then I don’t want to sell it to them.
Also, any commissions are shared equally with the sales team for that day, which is fair. It means that we are all about helping each other, and that creates a strong team.

May experience with King Living has definitely been mixed at times but over all it has been quite positive, my direct supervisor is definitely the best I have ever had, continuously caring and understanding while always doing his best to make work a positive experience for me.
some people I have worked with however have been quite unpleasant to work with and I have at times been harassed and bullied, my supervisor helped tremendously with this issue though.

Again, a nice place to work.  Management was great, but handled things not according to my own ideas of good management (i.e. praise in public and scold in private).  A typical day: varied.  Some days we were looking for things to do.  Other days we were just trying to keep up.  We were the newest showroom in the company, so it was quiet at first.  The best parts of the job were dealing with a great team, and selling a beautiful line of products.  The hardest part was trying to bring in new business.

Working with King living was an eye opening experience. Work wasn't difficult but was made difficult by the types of people they have in charge, permanent employees and HR management that have very poor people skills. which all in all turn a very simple job into a complete mess most of the time. In a company like this it's easy to be made feel a member of a solid team but within an hour that all changes. Would not recommend.

Head office location is terrible and they got rid of flexible work which they used to have. Your overall growth and development really depends on who you work under and which department, you need to figure out the politics and really advocate for yourself and make yourself visible infront of the right people for progression. Salary is average but there's not really any company benefits. 

A typical day at work consist of individuals working in groups finding furniture orders for trucks, unloading overseas containers and keeping the factory as neat and tidy as possible.
I learnt how to work in a team orientated environment and how to operate computer scanning  systems, as well as stacking and wrapping pallets to be sent out.

Supervisors and management lack the skills to effectively manage and lead a team. The job itself is easy and at times enjoyable although there is no sense of organisation in this work place. Pay is terrible. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Great group of people to work with. I started there over a month ago and have been welcomed by all. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Very impressed with their production of products and professionalism.

On a typical day, work is not very busy unless there are deliveries to be made and stocks to be unloaded. personnels are very friendly and customer friendly and provide an atmosphere that is peaceful to work in.
