This company gave me the opportunity to really delve deeply into my areas of interest, while continuously challenging my skills. They provided great professional development through their in-house training solutions, and for those who stepped up, good progression within the company.
The management had a great philosophy of 'we have to try new things, if we fail that's ok, as long as we are trying', which really resonated with the staff.
The entry level through to management were always given a voice on how to improve the business so for those interested in progressing, they really had an avenue to do so.
The most enjoyable part of my job was being a part of the internal projects, there was always something to be involved with if you had the drive to put your hand up and take on more work.
I'd definitely recommend this employer to anyone looking for work.

Kaplan is a great place to work. People are friendly, teams are supportive, managers are understanding and flexible (if occasionally a little busy). Being an education provider, personal development and on-the-job learning is highly regarded and readily available. There are great social and wellness initiatives, albeit only semi-regularly, but nonetheless they make the business more lively and welcoming. The expectation of hard work is there, but there is also lots of support and recognition for this hard work.

Lack of strategic alignment & management of work across tge business. Reactive not responsive.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
50/50 great/dysfunctional. Some rusted ons who control modernisation & ability to mature the organisation.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. Many, many meetings. Lots of work to unify teams.

Not a good place to work. They present to you that it is a dream corporate job but its a toxic place. There are some good workers but everyone is worried about when management meet for budget because they can't make enough money for that quarter. Many good workers were let go and not paid redundancies and there is a lot of blame game. Avoid at all costs.

This was my worst workplace ever. They push their people to limits until they fall 'dead'. Very high people turnover (resignations every week). No work ethics at all. Management only concerned about keeping their role there and will play politics and sacrifice any of their team.
Lack of professionalism, inconsistent communication.

As a company on a day to day basis this was a good place to work. Colleagues were easy to get along with and there was a culture of treating people well. From a business perspective Kaplan made continually poor decisions leaving it behind competitors and was too quick to cut costs to save money rather than look at ways of competing.

I have been with Kaplan for just under 1 year. 
My experience so far has been next to phenomenal. 

Kaplan are an organisation that see the benefit in professional development and thrive towards giving their employees the opportunity, time and space to flourish. 

An extremely welcoming culture where people are seen and heard.

I have worked for Kaplan for 16 years and enjoy the culture, people, environment and the various roles I've held. Kaplan has been very supportive of me and my career development and consider it a great place to work.

My project had a high level of consultant and vendor paticipation with the team being geographically distributed. So a very dynamic workplace with all the benefits and disadvantages of such a setting.
