i have not got confined space outside of the sub corp, but coming from the trade in sand blasting i obtained this job and was doing jobs outside my qualifications that i did and dint mind, i just completed my tasks required of me and enjoyed doing these new tasks but knew it wasn't under state laws. i found management really didnt want to know it was illegal as long as the job was done.

A typical day involved getting organised to cater for which ever shift one was responsible for: be it day or night. A representative from the management team would always be there to help and an interesting mix of co-workers made the work environment a joyful place to be.

Chef job good, hit the ground running,like most large organisations you get great co-workers and not so great. Job was easy the most annoying thing was the flies. The most enjoyable was having the ability to develop fun and exciting menus.

Constant threats of job loss to everybody and owner would never take advice from anyone. No pay increase in nearly 4 years even though it was in the employment contract. All senior management were the worst planners and I have ever worked with.

I have been employed by this Company for 6 months under casual employment,i do a drive in drive out roster of two weeks on and one week off. The company itself is very good and they do look after their employee's to the best of their ability,KJM have a very high standard in their camps,

Enjoyed the job, loading, unloading, chain and dogs, lots of driving the people I worked with, FIFO, camp was ok but no TV or Fridge in room, meals were great, one foreman spoiled the whole job, I got to see a lot of country where I had not been before.

You would have to pay out of your own money for food accomodation and fuel and then they would remburse you which was so wrong, plus you only got two days off after work 2, weeks straight.

Every camp is different and a new challenge with every environment.
I worked with a team of people all the way to just 2 of us looking after a group of truck drivers.

FIFO work has been an eye opening for me, I have enjoyed meeting and conversing with people from different background and cultures. Gyms and Saturday events were the my highlight.

Hard times now have taken it's  toll. But I enjoyed my time with a great team. Lots of different jobs to do.learnt slot more to put to my resume and also taught other people what I knew. I can take it to my next adventure if life.
