I worked on Itchys Gas Plant which I thought was well organised by supervisors considering the hot and sweaty weather in Darwin I enjoyed my time there.Great Facilities at the Workers Camp Howard’s Springs,great mateship with all the workers.Kaefer Management in my opinion were great.I had no problem
With anything that was needed,to do my job,kept us in touch with what was going on,within the site.Flights for R&R we’re easy,also so was all the mobilisation to and from site .I would have no problem working with Kaefer in the future should any positions come available for Insulators.

Typical day at work was the transportation to site was full when presenting in the morning.
Always learning from other guys on the job was good, picking up new tricks to the trade.
Management same as most compaines you have some there that are very good and some that could do with some retraining.
Employees seem very clicky, (Watch your own back) although some seem genuine.
Company very unorganized, flights & accommodation, barely the PPE, tools or equipment to do the job.
Meeting the daily challenges for the job was the most enjoyable part.

Met some good people hardworking and talented. Chill and good vibes 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
sometimes can get a little bit hard to get ahold of management or some jobs due to the high demand

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great variety, tough but loved it. Good culture 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I’m a scaffolder and the day goes well as long as we are on. friendly and supportive

A typical day for me would be to conduct company Prestart meetings,  organise the crews jobs and allotment. Plan and pre order my crews on going work. Development of and Taking out of permits. I would also be in charge of job quality and inspections, meeting deadlines and performance. I actually enjoyed be able to accomplish these things at ease most of the time.

Daily meetings with supervisors to discuss progress and job fronts.
Daily meetings with Client to discuss priority works and ensure deadlines are meet ,Organise men and equipment to maximise work efficiency. Be on job fronts to monitor Quality and progress.
Order stock and equipment. Report back to upper management.

Good pay and great safety culture

Not knowing how much work is on offer

Good with  safety as it is first priority.

Good can be very busy at sometimes

All my jobs that I have had 
Veolia was a great job as I worked on oil gas platforms in bass strate 
the work was good the men I meet where great ESSO was a great 
company to work for 
as with PSN and Lothways 
at the Longford gas plant was all so a great job with a great group of men to work with and a good site to work and learn the gas industre

Terrible work culture management don't care about you high turnover of workers . don't ask for PPE or tool's for the job you will get a rude reply we don't have any .

that last 10 mins of the day
going home too see your family and friends

Sandblast in mornings until lunch then paint after lunch.I learnt the importance of health and safety in the work place.Hardest part off the job was the heat somedays it would climb to 45 to 48 degrees.
