However, it's really the people at work that will make or break your experience. I was lucky to be in an amazing team that I'm still friends with today, but I know of casuals who get bullied, had big sales stolen (happened to me heaps in one particular store) and sniped at by some of the full time workers to the point they request to not have shifts with them.

For retail, the NSW management is a bit of a mess; promises get thrown around with no resolution, training budget is reduced often and they usually outsource talent instead of promoting. Bias is very obvious. If you don't have availabilities more than 3 days a week, you'll get cut, since they constantly remind you that you're "just a casual".

Day to day, work is menial and nothing different to regular retail. Most of the time you're working either concept stores and DJ/Myers but I think it's changing to be more flexible. Closing and opening shop and working 5+ hours alone is the regular since COVID and budgets were cut. Speaking of, don't be surprised if you get 3 hour shifts.

Don't get me wrong, I still had a great time there but that was before the management got switched. Perks included top monthly KPI gets an empty promise of a reward, and a half-yearly gratis of $150-$500 depending on how many hours you work weekly.

Jurlique feels like a company struggling to move forward. The team on the ground is what make the company a nice place to work. There are glimmers of genius, and the idea of from seed to skin is one that gives you a sense of well-being. However, in my experience the company does not nurture the staff it has, and there is a massive divide between those working upstairs and those working downstairs. There's a touch of the H.G. Wells time machine to Jurlique at times. 
If you are lucky enough to work in the offices, I am sure it is a wonderful place to work with great benefits, but those downstairs more often feel ignored and sometimes abandoned. 

Jurlique has been an amazing experience with sales, customer service and lialising with many different nationalities in the workplace. Customer service is one of my expertise and i love talking to so many people to find out what is best for their skin and wellbeing etc. I've learned so many new things working at Jurlique like managing the counter when my counter manager is on annual leave, achieving daily/weekly/monthly targets.

Some good opportunities to move within the company, however there are challenges with senior leadership and engagement with employees. A challenging time in retail, putting a lot of pressure on employees, with the best moving on, giving them a very high staff turnover, well above industry standard.

During my tenure in the IT department in Jurlique, I truely loved everyday during my stay there. There are some wonderful people you get to work with. The Working culture is very up with time and collaborative. Everyone in the workplace feels to be happy and motivated to work there. Will highly recommend anyone seeking their career in Jurlique.

It was terrible it makes me miserable makes me sad every time I work I hate it more than anything it is so boring and no one shops there there is nothing to do all day and it is terrible pay for the suffering I have to go through and they put me on every weekend 

Great new building with lots of amenities and facilities to help working life there. Hours were fine.
Company seemed to be developing and growing in a difficult economic environment.


Jurlique provides me with an opportunity to join their supportive team. I have received many trainings and developments. They also quite flexible with working condition. Management are very professional and supportive.

Good people to work with and great company culture.  A good place to watch and learn. Jurlique is big on recognition. As long as you put in your hard work, you will get rewarded
