Job Actions: Warehousing duties
Toolbox meeting at start of each day for daily activity. Goods receiving and despatch, stock control and allocation, stock take, Order assembly, Pre delivery of Complete Goods Stock (tractors, Combine harvesters, lawn machinery and kits).
Warehousing Certificate III and Inventory experience achieved.
Good company ethos with mission statement.

absolutely loved working here.Though only contracted by HAYS recruitment, ( was meant to be for 4wks but ended up being 5months)
 I got to drive some pretty impressive machinery in my time with John Deere. I would start my day picking parts for marine and agricultural machines. Priority picks first then extras. Receive incoming goods. Then after mid morning head out to the yard to prepare out going goods and maintain stock. I managed my time well and within the time frames given. I worked with a great crew of older people and became one of the team in no time.

I found it to be a wonderful company to work for and has a great team environment and positive attitude towards culture.

John Deere provided me with the opportunity to work in a global team, which was very stimulating and interesting, and allowed me to travel both domestically and internationally to work with our suppliers.
Locally I worked in a diverse team which helped me broaden my skills and knowledge.
John Deere provided leave loading, 12.6% super contribution in return of the employee salary sacrificing 5% themselves. The short and long term incentives were generous.

The Finance Team are nice people who have very little support, training or development. The culture is poor and the communication is lacking to say the least. 

Middle "Management" are not qualified or trained adequately to assist staff. When requesting assistance you are directed to 
"Google it". 

Staff turn over is sadly High.

Great learning experience working at Emmetts (John Deere). Working in spare parts department I developed many different skills, got the idea of what it was like to work in the workforce. Ordering but producing the right part for customers was stressful at times but pushed you to make sure everything was accurate.

I enjoyed my job with John Deere and we had a great team building diesel engine packages to the clients specifications. In July of 2017 the directors decides to move the engine building division to Melbourne and made our jobs redundant.

I wish that I could have remained employed at Crestmead Qld office beyond the end of my contract.  It's a great work environment with very supportive staff at all levels.

Suck the life out of you push you very hard if you take a day off punish you by cutti g off overtime for a weeks a d bonus you get lower rate regardless if you're the best worker
