A typical day is extraordinarily busy, therefore keeping me alert, on my toes and granting me with exceptional experience regarding high volumes of customer settings. I learnt duties such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, opening and closing venues, coffee-making, etc. I also learnt how to interact with customers, how to deal with dissatisfied customers and how to operate cash registers. Everybody within my work place is great. The management is fantastic - they're constantly and actively involved with all employees. They're all friendly and easy to cooperate with, I have never had a problem with any coworker. The hardest part of the job would be keeping customers happy during peak - the park often has over 8,000 people on a sunny day, and ensuring they receive their food as soon as possible can be quite stressful. The most enjoyable part of the job for me is watching people have a great time, interacting with them, learning where they've traveled from and discovering what a great day they've had at the park.

A typical day provides it's fair share of challenges, but we are trained to overcome any obstacles with a team oriented strategy as well as with our individual skills. The management team and staff have taught me so much and have given me so many opportunities to develop myself and my skills. The hardest part of the job can be settling into an extremely fast paced environment and working through incredibly stressful situations, however, the staff you work with and the management help in every way to deliver a quality entertainment experience and care for their coworkers.

Working hard cooking meals for the customers with an exceptional team, learning how to make better coffees and use equipment not normally used by the average person. 
I love the atmosphere and all the other staff members. Though the hardest part with the job is having to know how to prioritise tasks during the business times and knowing how much preparation is needed prior the the day.

But all in all its great fun, the work is the best and seeing guests of all ages happy to be there makes my day better.

This was a great place to work, the overall atmosphere was positive and fun. The benefits included cheap lunches, free entry into the park and free drinks during the shift. The management was fair and nice. Due to it being a seasonal job, there was very poor job security.

Getting through the rush and getting ready to start all over again

Management can be a bit much at time. Other staff were great however and for the most part its a very easy job.  To move up in the company and develop any seniority you have to do multiple seasons. Hard work is only rewarded if you are in with supervisors or management.

Although the outdoor staff members seem to form cliques, it wasn't hard to make friends with some of the lovely staff there.
i often found it physically exhausting to do the job, the shifts were long and not all staff were treated as equals.

I worked in the retail department at the action park. A typical day included opening and/or closing one of the many retail outlets at the park. This included cleaning jobs, counting money, filling out paperwork and attending to customers.

working here is a hectic environment. management is rarely approachable and throw you in the deep end with out training. no fixed hours and workplace is very uncomfortable.

The job and culture it’s self was a solid reason to stay working there, the management was not and very very unprofessional. Would reccomend unless you aren’t  ready to deal with the challenges
