What is the best part of working at the company?
The many different cultures and abilities to learning the many different areas in the industry. Having an at work medical team is a bonus aswell. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I found the most stressful part was having to go back to the baggage room to collect your bags or drip keepers and labels to pack your stock & that absence puts you a little behind because your table continues to keep doing their jobs and you return to a big pile....or when the conveyor plate breaks down or is held up and you are stuck to sending out your box's which then backs you up a bit so have to wait around.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment is cool as you work inside a factory that is  kept at 8°. 
The culture is mixed and at times difficult when needing to communicate but usually you can ask another person who may understand to communicate for you.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Easy sailing going on your first break feels like you just got started at work but before you know or lunch time where you get a good half hour to warm up and relax your body to begin the afternoon shift to just plot through the carcasses to tidy up and end of shift to pack up and go home.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The ability to buy meat from the company (it's really really good.)

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Ignorance of working conditions and general state of fellow workers from the management and foremen. Didn't matter how poorly a machine was working or what kind of strain or stress someone was on you'd just be told to cope and deal with it regardless of the danger of injury.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You'll get along well with your co-workers and maybe a foreman or two, it's a very much us vs them sort of feeling between the people working the main site and upper level workers.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long, straining and repetitive. I was there for four years and I wish I had those back. You are moved if you get along with the person you work with because they seem to think that you getting along with someone will affect your capacity to work. On the floor it's you and your thoughts for the entire shift.

A typical day for me would be when i was doing Domestic Cleaning, suppose to clean daughters house but ended cleaning dads first lol....dad was happy daughter wasnt she was quiet jealous of her dads house been so spotless at the end of the day i cleaned the daughters house and were all happy!
I learned alot over the industries that i have been working in, such as great customer services, a willing to do and meeting fantastic people on the way.
i did not find anything hard in the workforcei like to take on new challenges and learn from them.
The most enjoyable i have quite a few, interacting with customers, getting the job done and then getting paid lol!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The work is very repetitive and heavy ,  but quite rewarding.  No thinking required,  However the management need a major reboot!   Very much a us and them mentality.  Not a great work environment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having to work at an unsafe pace.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Poor morale. Staff placed In leadership roles that clearly can barely write their own name.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work. Hard have lunch go home no need to think.

As a casual, enjoyed my time. Shifts are offered on a performance based basis, so if you can excel at sales they'll give you more shifts.

Commissions are generous, no specific targets to reach, as they are instead sale by sale paid weekly with your payslip. Commissions are also performance based and each product has its own margin.

If you have good coworkers you'll enjoy your time and end up pocketing good money. It's a good idea to apply during Christmas casual hiring period, as they'll keep you if you're good.

I had a valuable experience working at JBS. The work environment was fast-paced and physically demanding, but it helped me develop strong teamwork and time management skills. I performed meat processing and packaging tasks while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards. The team was supportive, and the management ensured that all safety protocols were followed. This job strengthened my ability to work efficiently under pressure and improved my attention to detail. Overall, it was a rewarding experience that helped me grow both professionally and personally.

Salary includes superannuation which is low. Constant expectation to work overtime and management can be bullies.  The southern plants is a boys club and the northern plants just don’t care about you. I wouldn’t work here long term. Corporate office have no idea what they are doing. On a positive note the company progresses all the time so if you are wanting to gain experience quickly on a project this is the place to be.

There was lots of jobs i solved and never praised.
Once you don't finish a job or can't do job cause of no parts you get blamed and given out too.
Contractors come in do the same job and get paid a quarter more of your wage per hour plus a van and phone.
There was no structure inside the company.
Nobody supported each other either.
Management didn't seem to get on either and there was always bad relations between everyone.
The job itself i didn't mind cause you were always busy.

Arrive at work at 5am. Change into work clothes. Enter processing area 10 minutes prior to starting and organise work bench and order sheets. Pack meat into boxes as specified. Work along co-workers, different levels of management and different levels of food safety officers. maintain high standards of meat quality. most enjoyable part of the day is the sanctification of maintaining a highly functioning work site.

Release managers and team members don't know how to make a new joinee feel included in the team. All they care is job done. They dont  have any onboarding plan for new joinees. If you feel or discuss about your challenges they take it as person is not capable to adjust new environment and start thinking how to get rid of you. So think twice or thrice joining this company specially if you are in Testing. Also they dont encourage team collaboration across the teams.
