I am an experienced risk professional having diversified experience in Audit, Risk and Governance. I gained my exposure in Public sectors and Big4 consulting firm (KPMG and Deloitte) at senior positions in developing and managing internal controls, strategic and enterprise governance and risk management framework. As in any IT company, a smart working person can start a day with maximum energy thereby finishing up most of the tasks for the day within 2/3rd of the day. I learned this strategy while working there. However we need to ensure the job you did is reported appropriately to the right person. Most of the co-workers being young, its fun to work as when work gets tough, many a times the lighter side of the youth helps to gain the emotional stability. We had celebrated success and failure almost equally, which is the most enjoyable part of the job. The hardest part of the job is for the middle managers who has to manage the scheduled project timelines and actual progress.

Projects are over committed and under delivered. Management team are ruthless and 'hirer and fire' is the management style. You're expected to do 10-14hr days, but only get paid for 8.

They are openly racist towards white people when they can get away with it. 

I was physically threatened on more than one occasion and once for miss naming a file!!

Extremely steep learning curve of outdated processes. There is absolutely no support should you need it. Never ever criticise management as it is an instant dismissal.

Spying on each other is actively encouraged and is one of the forms of management control.

if you are coming to onshore then it won't be best choice to come from Infosys or any other company who are supporting main telecom company of UK (I hope you understand name) as work pressure is very high and they/any company who are sending you will expect you to work 24x7 like robot.
Apart from this taking leaves is challenging and you can't expect peaceful holiday as you will get call at anytime to login and support irrespective you are on leave or not or travelling or in middle of anything of your personal life.

The most enjoyable part of the work is every employee is given that freedom to express then thoughts and ideas. There is no such hardest of job at infosys as every one is supportive and helping when ever a team member is facing any issues with there work life balance.

At Hudson:
-Usually a day goes by in resolving payroll queries from co-workers and other teams.
-Completed a black belt project in terms of Controlling Overpayments
- Learnt Peoplesoft 9.1 Internals and contractors including AU legislations
-Management helps all the people to train themselves by various training methods and running different projects on process gaps and system issues.
-Processing a priority payment urgently when contractor or an employee missed the on cycle run.
- Increasing my learning curve is day by day is something I have always enjoyed at my work

I worked initially for Infosys Australia and it was good, then parent company took over ( Infosys ) and it slowly became a company that treated its employees as if we were less than disposable.  

I have found it to be an extremely racist as all non Indian employees were systematically released from contracts and employment and replaced with Indian employees, that is after the non Indian employee trained at least two Indian employees to do their jobs.

It is hard to believe that in this day and age and in a western country  that this type of behavior can continue unchecked.
