As a former store manager at Industrie Clothing, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of support and respect from upper management especially the regional manager, who was consistently rude, dismissive, and degrading. There was zero guidance or encouragement, and communication across the brand was disorganised and unclear. It felt like upper management had no real understanding of how to run a business, and decisions were made with no structure or logic, like a two year old was in charge. The work environment was dull, morale was low, and there was no room for growth or creativity. Even with experience and commitment, I was made to feel undervalued and constantly undermined. It’s one of the most poorly managed companies I’ve worked for. I wouldn’t recommend working here to anyone seeking a professional, respectful, or supportive retail environment. You’re left to figure everything out on your own while being micromanaged and disrespected.

Worked here for 2 years now as a casual, not a bad job but it is highly competitive in terms of making budget and beating last years figures. if managers don’t like you, you won’t be given shifts. they have quiet periods where everyone will be given three hour shifts 1-2 times a week for 2-3 months at a time. managers are pretty lazy and rely on their covers to do stock and complete all tasks on their short shifts. pressure to complete so many tasks in short deadlines is unrealistic. relaxed in terms of uniform, coworkers are easy to get along with, pay is decent, just wish there were more employee benefits for female workers as the staff discount isn’t really beneficial for us personally 

Please don’t work here. The management is the worst I’ve ever experienced which is why they have a high staff turn over rate. Even got warnings from previous employees and people who don’t even work there that it’s a horrible place to work. Only benefit is the pay but the manager is just a piece of work with no care or respect for the people who pretty much do everything 

Great interview and onboarding. 
Learnt alot and continue to grow each day. 
Was provided with internal growth and opportunities without even having to apply for them. 
Management knew what was best for you and the timing for bigger roles. 
Culture was great and perks would be most enjoyable part of the job.

Have been managing a store and progressed over the past 3 years. 
Love the company and the culture and the care they put into the team from regional management and all the way up on everyone that works in the business is treated so well not just a number like various other companies.

Unfortunately, Industrie just was not the place for me. I met a lot of great people including amazing customers, but the logistics behind it all made it a very hard place to work at. That is all I wish to express about Industrie.

Great team, physically demanding job, State manager checks in every other day to see how shop and worker is progressing, strive to exceed previous sales. great for the competitive minded people 

quite enjoyable, very hands on- can be quiet at times
Staff are quite friendly however communication can be fairly unclear at times (potentially due to the fact that one person is working at a time)

a really laid back job, no challenge or opportunity to grow in the company, terrible management, overall a lot of better places to work, pay was decent and the other employees are ok
