What is the best part of working at the company?
Indeed really cares about its people and goes above and beyond to take care of them professionally and personally. This is demonstrated through the great benefits, examples set by leadership, and the quality of people they hire. 

They also go to great lengths to be transparent with weekly Q&A sessions with the executives. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There is a lot of red tape and challenges to getting things done. Marketing has a lot of hurdles to overcome from siloed data/departments, procurement and legal hangups, and budgeting. Some simple tasks often take weeks and weeks because of the way the department is organized. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is excellent. The Sydney team is close-knit, and people generally get along really well. Lunch is provided daily. They create many opportunities to get to know each other through non-work activities (yoga classes, flower arrangement workshops, happy hours, Halloween parties, etc. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I could work from home every day in marketing, but I would go in mid-week to interact with people. I'd work with the sales teams and our partners during the day. Since most are remote, there are lots of Zoom calls. When I would connect with the US or European teams, it usually required early or late calls out of typical work hours; however, it's so lax that I could go to the gym or run errands in the day to make up for out-of-hours meetings.

I work as a Team Lead at Indeed, and it is gratifying. The culture is very open and honest, entrusting but supportive, and it is an enjoyable workplace. 

A typical day involves cold calling to book demos, client meetings, admin, and team meetings/training. 

The learning and growth at a TL level can stagnate unless you proactively seek new ways to learn, develop and grow. 

Management is entrusting but also supportive if it is needed. Some internal processes can be frustrating, but this is expected with such a big, global, and growing business. 

The culture is super collaborative, entrusting and supportive. I look at going to work as spending time with my friends. 

The hardest part of the job is managing your time. There are so many moving pieces, so you need to adapt quickly and be flexible while staying focused on the core components of the role and then executing this. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is hard to choose. The benefits are outstanding, the team culture is great, and the perks + bonuses are excellent. 

The salaries are slightly below market standards, which could be improved to help employees feel valued. There are also many things other countries get access to which aren't passed along to other countries, such as outstanding events etc. Marketing could improve as they haven't been a great support function to the sales org at times making decisions that are a bit out of sync with sales.

Overall its one of the best companies i have worked for, and we have it pretty good compared to a lot of other places I have worked for, so i give it 4.5 stars overall out of 5.   

Take everything with a pinch of salt- indeed is a global leader so you have the opportunity to learn from a company that has more products than other recruitment platforms and continues to evolve so theres a lot to learn and teach new clients.

Pretty happy at present to be honest.

I've been with Indeed for 3 years now. It's always been a great culture, environment, benefits and everything that comes with working for a tech company. 

During this pandemic and recession where other companies are laying off their employees, the Indeed SLT have been nothing but supportive and transparent. They have given us 1 additional day off per month labelled "You" days for our mental health + gave us 2 lots of WFH expenses to ensure our WFH experience is comfortable + extended our WFH until July 2021!

I truely can't list all the amazing things Indeed has done for my time here but nothing short of amazing!

Indeed has provided me with insight into what it is like to work for a forward thinking and balanced business with an amazing culture. 
They show in many ways that they care for their team and want them to be compensated, rewarded and praised for their efforts. 
Their level of care extends beyond monetary, they have an open leave policy, implemented extra mandatory days off during COVID to help individuals manage stress or pressure and help improve work life balance.
They have a plethora of diversity groups and constantly address what is happening around the world to ensure everyone feels supported and accepted. 


Indeed have just launched the Australian arm of their global business here in Sydney and I have been a part of this exciting launch from the start! We are in the process of building an exception Sales and Client Services team in our brand new Sydney CBD offices. We carefully select each and every employee to drive the fun culture Indeed has around the globe. Start-ups are not for the faint hearted but the rewards are endless! This is a great time to join a fast growing online business and really map out a superb career for yourself.

Indeed is a great place to work, but not for the faint of heart. The market in Sydney is new and presents some challenges because of this, also if you are scared of a phone do not apply. 

For the hard work you will be rewarded with competitive salary, amazing people, and a good fun work environment that is RAPIDLY expanding. (And a pretty nice view!) 

I can not recommend Indeed enough to those who are strong, and looking a great company to work for.

I loved working at Indeed Sydney, management were relaxed and easy going but everyone still got their work done. Every Friday we would have a different lunch provided and an early finish to socialize with the office with some drinks. There was always a positive vibe in the team and I would recommend to anyone to work there! I learned how to be persistent and calm as my job required calling businesses to encourage them to post their job adverts on Indeed.com. Would love to work there again!

Indeed has a very friendly work environment. Everyone is fun and energetic so working here is enjoyable.

Being the only Information Technology employee in the Sydney office, I have learnt many new sales strategies and Business relationship building techniques on the side.

The management is incredibly understanding over at Indeed and the co-workers follow the same path. There is pretty much no hard part of this position.

Indeed is an amazing company to work for. The initial training / induction was second to none, the ongoing mentoring, support and professional development is daily. Additionally I work with brilliant people and have an awesome Manager.
