IGA X-Press

My part time work at IGA X-press consisted of a lot of restocking, facing up of products, managing staff and customer service. 
Management was sufficient enough to keep the doors opening everyday. The co-workers always needed guidance. 
The hard part of the job was the constant lifting of heavy boxes and dealing with the expired meats/dairy. 
Although the most enjoyable experience was ordering and restocking the fruit and vegetable section.

1.I enjoyed working there but when i have to upload the shelves my hands sometimes ached due to heavy weight items.

2. I learned if u work hard then you will be rewarded for the same .

5. sometimes I have to keep standing 8-9 hours consectively

6. Development of customer realations , every time they come to store they look for you to say Hi!

Lovely family business , they r lovely people , who let u pick what U like for lunch from the shop and invite U 2 a lively Xmas party @ the family house . Very approachable people . Wages paid on time every week . If I didn't get Carpel tunnel from the repetiviness of serving and bagging , I would still be working here , I luv the customer service aspect of the job .

Working at IGA X-Press has allowed me to develop deeper skills necessary for work and also life. It has a diverse landscape when it comes to a typical day. From meal prepping to tidying the store to closing, it has unique and challenging tasks all worth the hard work to overcome.

lovely people on staff. only problem is that in summer time its so busy you are constantly being asked to take people shhifts on your off days and its so crazy there are lines out the door and then in winter it was so dead you had to stand there doing nothing. not the businesses fault though

A day with my previous work is good for me. We work together to have a safe and secure environment that caters  our differences and our willingness to have an open mind in how we can work together  as a whole.

I gained good work experience and the staff and culture around the workplace is welcoming. I have learned some beneficial and key management and organisation skills.

Good working environment,Best customer service skills and management.
Maintain store in clean ,organized fashion.
maintain store procedures to keep high levels of customer satisfaction.

Since I started working at IGA for my first job, the crew were nothing short of encouraging, I settled in quickly and the owners are very nice yet professional.

My first experience to know how the local people eating habits. Most of the customers are willing to talk and share their stories. The hospitality makes me feel very enjoyable to be work in there
