There would be no Typical day as everyday is different. The only thing that was the same was on opening and closing the store. Good communication was key to running both businesses, Management, helped to make smooth running of events, following set procedures and formats was another.

Working days on your own and then days where there were more than one staff ran smoothly as each knew what their role that day was. Again good communication focused highly. Developing good relations and lasting friendships was a positive.

The most enjoyable part for me was meeting a varied number of people from all over the globe, all with stories to tell. Also developing new skills and finding that even though there were obstacles to overcome, with determination and commitment, these could be obtainable.

Set up, installation,Xmas light display.
Head electrician,looked after all the power.
Learnt to blend and mix with other staff.
Co-ordinated jobs with management.
Enjoyed working in a team.
Hardest part was making sure every thing was running for opening night.
Most enjoyable part was the satisfaction of the whole show and the reaction of people.Smiles on their faces.

Jobs easy, gets quite boring doing the same thing for the whole day especially if you keep getting put on that ride. It’s very laid back and easy money for what your doing. The hardest part is customer complaining that there kids to short to get on a ride. Don’t expect to get much from HVG as you are expendable and can easily be replaced, only benefit to working here is the friendships you make.

A beautiful and award winning property to work in. Something environmentally spectacular to see everyday, flora and fauna.

Friendly bunch of people always up for a laugh but put in the big ones to get a job done.

Always something new to learn and experience with opportunities to learn new skills and training within the horticulture industry.

I heard about the job from a friend and got an interview very easily. I started work about a week later after training and was welcomed into the team. People who work there are proficient and helpful. The job requires coordination, stamina and people skills and is enjoyable.

Love working in the gardens with great people but the pay is not good as I have a morage with 7 people in the house .I used to do a lot of different jobs heading weeding water driving people around telling people about the gardens and sharing my knowledge with everyone

Never have i had a workplace where as soon as i walk threw the gates im instantly depressed. I feel every time i leave, I leave a part of me there. It's really quite bad

A professional team of people to work with. A large and diverse property to work on

Good pay, but a bullying and gossipy environment and kind of a  lazy management
Best part of the actual job is the customers. Very easy to get hired there

I started out in housekeeping,i made my way up to supervised on weekends.then cleaning the pub full time.great team to work with
