I have been working with them for 2yrs.

My typical work day includes meeting the needs of my clients personnel needs and then we go out for community outings, Lunches, dinners and shopping.

I have learn't be a advocate to my clients needs, greater understanding of my clients wheel chair access to places within there Community that also cater for their needs.

I enjoy working with my clients, encouraging and meeting daily tasks they care perform themselves and achieving goals, they may not have the chance to achieve before and also searching for activities they may be interested in and they can participate in.

My  background is from the caring /support industry. I came on board with this company right in the middle of Covid. This was a difficult time for any business and I have found this company to be very willing to adapt to change and to do there best to accommodate the client and employee. The owner of this business is extremely hard-working and I have watched this company grow from strength to strength. The staff in the office are very approachable and always seeking to improve in communication and service all round for client and carer. I am watching this company flourish and expand in all facets of support in aged care and disability and are happy to be part of the team. I highly recommend this company for any new  clients or employees. 

The work was enjoyable and rewarding in that you are dealing with clients in need and carers supporting those clients.  The systems are not the best to support the business activities and made it more difficult than it needed to be.  The biggest problem is the office environment and management of the business.  Staff turnover in the office was almost weekly during my short time and it was obvious that this was the norm. After 2 months I was the longest serving employee in the office.  No one has stayed more than 1 year.  There were constant arguments, bad language, doors being slammed, walk-outs and lots more.  Quite a circus and definitely not conducive to a productive and pleasant work day.  In over a 40 year career, I have never experienced anything like it.

Working at Homecare Australia as a Support Worker has been a great experience. Each day involves helping clients with daily tasks and appointments, and I've learned a lot about patient care and communication. The Interview process was thorough, and the training has been great. Management is supportive and It is easy to contact the CEO directly, if needed. The workplace culture is positive and inclusive, with a great team atmosphere. The company also promotes from within, offering great opportunities for career growth.

I worked for this company for 2.5 years and was very happy there. I left to pursue opportunities outside the sector. The MD was very honest about the challenges the business had faced with hiring the wrong people in the past. You are expected to work hard. You are paid a salary not an hourly rate and the previous reviews posted don't reflect the culture I found there. I was grateful the opportunity to learn and work in the sector

At HomeCare Australia you often work with regular clients who you get to know very well. It may be personal care, a walk along the beach, a doctors appointment or a lunch outing or a combination of all. If there’s any issues or you need support and guidance you can call the office and they are always happy to help. Management are happy to work with you to create the right work/life balance for you.

I've been working for HomeCare Australia for a while and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff is incredibly supportive and the training provided is top-notch. The clients are always happy and well taken care of, which makes coming to work a joy. The company values its employees and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel valued and appreciated. I've done my years in support work, and I can tell you none have it as right as Homecare Australia. They have a less lenient hiring process, requiring Certificates but as anyone who's worked in this industry knows there are a lot of bad actors with no qualifications. Homecare Australia makes sure the people I work with are qualified.
Clients are amazing. Office Staff are amazing.
