As a truck driver offsider, a typical day starts by clocking in for a 5am start, then proceeding to the production office to collect your run/route sheet including necessary key tags for clients for the day, and link with your designated truck driver. Load the truck for the first run and start the day assisting the driver with the tasks ahead. Your day will finish once all your runs are completed. These tasks include pushing/pulling trolleys that can be upwards of 250kgs but it won't be a problem if you are physically fit. Securing the load and opening/closing the tailgate. The hardest part of the job is the unloading/loading the truck, most of the time you are sitting inside the truck driving to the client/s. Clients include aged care facilities and hospitals which require you to be vaccinated for covid-19 two doses minimum. Blue and yellow card is mandatory for work and you will pay the fees with your own money. However, you are given $120 to purchase work boots annually which is a plus.

I was happy to start working there 
I am disabled and they hire disabled people a lot so I thought they’d be understanding
I had surgery on my arms and they were fully aware of this and still went with the assessment 
The work was very arm focused and my assessment was to be paid 40% pay $8 an hour
I asked to be reassessed when I was healed and they said there’s no point 
Also everyday they said to let them know when I need to sit down or change stations the one day I did I got yelled at saying I can’t just leave stations I had to be there for 30-45 mins turned out I’d been there for over an hour I quit the next day

The Management don't listen and although they deny it, there is a culture of bullying.  It is rare that you are able to take a meal break as a Driver, but you lose 30 minutes per day regardless.  The work itself is okay and the workers throughout the premises are great to work with, but if there was a management change with a supportive outlook for all staff, then the Company would be great to work for.  Within 3 months of starting work at the Laundry, you will be looking for a new job.  If you are a new driver and can stand the bullying, it can be a foot in the door.  Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Very challenging at the first few weeks at work but on the latter part it became easy as you got familiar in the company. The hardest part is when you encountered unusual problem but its so easy to resolve if you know what your doing. At the end of the day you know that everything is good and you are ready to face another challenging work for the next day. Challenge makes you strong, learn and grow.

i have four people in my care, i supervise and guide them then write notes on the day

1. A typical day is busy but not stressfull.The work load is divided to your capability.
2.Learn how to do packaging, sorting. Operate machinery.
3. Managenent is fair.
4. Workplace culture is good  they will treat you like a family.
5. Sorting soiled linen
6. Team work each and every one do there share of work.

Working there it’s very stressful and bullying is very big problem.some of my time didn’t get paid.i though Human Resources it’s your side but even management is wrong they always on the side of management.not a fair work to work.Coordinator is not fair to the workers.Always change the roster in last minute.Force you to stay back. Im Gladly out of that place.

They often help people with disability to get a job . Good training , friendly people . The work is fine and relaxed .Team leader motivate people to work as a team and more often do ther round on thier designated area of responsibility to ensure the process is follow.

We had to make sure that all the data has been entered correctly. Attention to detail was vital. Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Calling up for replacement of sick staffs. Invoicing etc.

Did work experience here and from what I’ve seen it’s very fast paced, hot towards the end of the year, jobs are easy once you learn how to use the machines
