Working at Hive as a sales rep has been a great experience. I’m in different gyms almost every day, talking to people about food and making sales. The job is performance-based. The harder you work, the more you earn, which means there’s real potential to make a lot of money if you put in the effort.

One of the best things about Hive is the opportunity for growth. If you’re doing well, you can move up within the company, and eventually even secure a sponsorship. Plus, this job helps you develop top-tier sales skills that can be applied anywhere.

That being said, this job isn’t for the weak-minded. You need confidence, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection without letting it slow you down. But if you’re driven and willing to hustle, Hive offers an exciting, rewarding career path.

Had a great experience at Hive, the management team is super supportive and sales here is shown the correct way - friendly and not pushy.
The job can take a week or two to learn, but if you stick at it you will do well. Food related products to sell, non of that fundraising malarky. 
Looking at other comments, the people who have a bad experience are those who throw in the towel early, as everyone who gives this time suceeds.

I worked for Hive for 3 years, including a duration over Covid and couldn't recommend them more. The management were both supportive and friendly, the culture was great and the opportunity to earn was uncapped. Hive market brands that are really easy to get behind and relatively straight forward to promote, which can't be said for the majority of similar roles. This is a role where the effort you put in, is reflected in the pay you take home. I have recommended Hive to friends and all have the same opinion.  

The support structure and professionalism is great, they really do try and provide ongoing support and financial incentives to help you grow personally and professionally.  Really enjoyed working with them over 4+ years now and the opportunity to travel interstate across Australia also has been amazing.  

I was working in Hive's gym campaign, so we would go to different gyms across Melbourne and chat to people about the product and align with what they are trying to achieve with their training.

We had a lot of support around how to sell the product from senior leaders. The most enjoyable part of the job was working in different gyms and making some good money in the process. 

There was some travel involved which was the most annoying part of the job

I worked here for 5 months whilst backpacking around Australia. I worked in retails, although the job can be very fast paced I really enjoyed in, especially working in a team.
We had team drinks every week, it’s a great way to meet new people. The job can be stressful sometimes, but you have the support from your fellow team mates to push you on. Pay was good, if you work extra you can make more money.

I had a great experience with Hive. Their training and hands-on approach helped me develop exceptional communication skills that I now use daily. The team was supportive, professional, and truly invested in my growth. Highly recommend for anyone looking to level up their communication and start their sales journey.

Having no previous experience in a sales role, it was great working at Hive learning a whole new skill set! The team were very welcoming and supportive. While sales can be challenging at times, the financial reward is there if you work hard, and it certainly help fund my travels to Asia!

Would definitely recommend to friends if you want to try your hand at a sales role. 

The lack of professional interaction from the hiring staff is fairly discouraging and poor. There is little communication and acknowledgement during the process, with one of the hiring staff members promising a call back which was never received. If you are seeking a thorough, organized and coherent organization, please save your time and move along.

I took this job as I was struggling financially having just finished my travels around Asia, at the start it was a little tough getting used to selling in the retail environment, however if you are persistent and listen to your peers and management you can very quickly start making good money.
