Hitachi management have been very supportive of me & my career aspirations. There has been a noticeable cultural improvement in the Brisbane branch recently, as well as an increased focus on developing people. A branch-wide committee has been formed to focus on increased employee satisfaction with a number of positive actions being implemented off the back of it. I appreciate the job security Hitachi offer over the major competitors who are often quick to offload surplus people. There is the opportunity for advancement for those with hopes of building a long-term career given the scope of the global business & internal promotion is quite common. The packages are fair & consistent & include bi-annual bonuses. I feel good about my long-term career prospects & don't intend on going anywhere.

Great place the best part was after lunch when everything started to get packed and items put through the computer.
I learnt quite a bit while working there about consignment notes and using different methods of picking, paper picking aswell as rf scanning. 
The staff were fantastic very considerate and helpful friendly caring.
Had weekly toolbox meetings and also cake day once or twice a month. 
It was a fantastic place to work and I absolutely loved coming to work everyday....
Was only there a short time and was treated like part of the family it was great.

After a number of years I was working away 40 weeks a year at different mining and construction sights and overseas locations such as New Zealand  some 10 trips

Most of the mining training was based on 12 hour day- seven day week, - salary no overtime, I decided that I wanted to work in Sydney as I have 6 grand kids and I wanted to spend more time with them while they were young.

What is the best part of working at the company?
daily getting out of there at 5pm from the narcissistic upper management, it's all about whose got the biggest Weiner, and they won't even say hello to the staff that is below them.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
arriving at 8am and knowing you have to put in a solid effort to stay for the day.

Mentally draining with the Management

A typical day at work consisted of sorting out the documentation for the days picking of stock in the warehouse, and collation of other documents as well as input of data into our system for future allocation.

As well as switchboard management, I dealt with the truck drivers whom came in for container pick ups as well as booking couriers.  The most challenging part of my job would of been making sure things were done in a timely manner, but was also the most rewarding part as i thrive when there is a lot to do.

Customers service rep job was amazing. Company car, phone laptop and credit card all included. Fair commission structure with uncapped potential, would go back here to work.
Only downfall at the Sydney branch is the continual change of management.. the only reason I moved on.
Although, the senior team at the head office is brilliant especially the bus’s ones development manager at the time.

I lasted 3 months at HCMA Wacol as an Administration Assistant from June 2019.
The Administration Manager is sarcastic, spiteful, and without a doubt, a superiority complex. Her offsider possesses the same attributes. Many a time, my Manager left me questioning my own intelligence. 
I quit my position with no job to go to. I was thoroughly mentally destroyed! I urge anyone considering an Administration Assistant role at Hitachi Wacol to think twice!

Great  Employees who think highly of the company cited good pay and benefits and a fast-paced work environment. Hitachi also offers generous perks, such as laundry service, free gourmet meals, and gym access.  employees also approved of management policies. One review echoed a common sentiment, advising management to “keep doing what you are doing, putting people first...and treating your employees with great care and kindness.”

Days are typically the same, management do not value your work/life experience. Most of my co-workers, fulltime and contracted do not like the management style of the Warehouse Manager and find it hard to stay motivated on a daily basis.
I would say the most enjoyable part of working here is the people you deal with during the day that I come in contact with.

VERY  VERY poor management, been there too long set in their ways with no care for their employees. 
F/S guys ripped off with their benefits .
I.e expecting the FS boys to be ready for breakdowns on weekends with no standby incentive .
Last minute organisation.
Expecting you to down personal life at the last minute
I wouldn't bother applying for a job here as they are awful
