Typical corporate folk who don’t care about you and only care about making money. 
If they promise you the world in your interview, I.e, flexible working, make sure it’s in writing. Do not believe the smoke in mirror promises just to make you want to accept the role. 

Culture at this place is negative. Initial thoughts I thought they had a nice culture, but once the rose coloured glasses fade, you will see they’re stuck in old ways and it’s difficult to make positive change.. unless you’re a loud bro type, maybe they might listen. A lot of the office staff worked their way up from the factory, they have a culture of working long hours and needing to be onsite. But then you come on site and sit in Teams video meetings all day. Pointless and poor management, especially in Covid times. They love meetings as well, so be prepared to be in them 50% of your time, at least, and then hence why people need to work longer hours due to 1000 meetings. Like how many committees do people need to show face in? Can we just focus on the real work so that people are not stressed. Too many meetings and corporate BS but not willing to spend money on head count to do all the jobs. Wants a Lamborghini but can only afford a Honda. 

P&C seem to try hard with initiatives but it’s mainly surface level- “it’s healthy month, here’s a poster” but still sell 100% unhealthy food at the canteen.. “it’s mental health awareness, here’s some 2 minute weird videos to watch” that’s great but pointless if culture doesn’t walk the talk.l. I find the team members are not very approachable and not personable. 
They don’t even have a Christmas party. Their “Christmas party” is a lame bbq in the canteen using stock from the floor, and make the managers cook it, during the lunch break. Seriously the worse I’ve ever experienced. Parties are meant to not be during work hours and involves alcohol and FUN. 

Everyday working at this place it’s always about number and targets. They’re so focused on hitting the targets that they’re the most unimaginative and boring bunch of food manufacturers. These guys do not care about food, they care about hitting targets.

When the staff not turning to work on the roster.

Good, at present as new management running it

Normal, sometimes not busy, and sometimes machinery brocken.

Hilton staff can feel above reproach an look down their nose at workers.
They allow line leaders to bring in their mates to work on their line and the position they fill isn't necessarily vacant. That person is given the flick. Its very unfair but they don't care about the fact that we have bills an family to feed too and this is sprung on us.

People are so friendly there they respect each others culture.All the bosses are kool.They food is so yummy everything you pack they cook it in the cafeteria for only 6dollars plate primo.They also have crash courses running during the week to keep everyone upto date with all procedures of the whole plant.

Pay rate , cheap meals in canteen 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lazy coworkers . Poor leadership 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very busy . Two radio never stopped 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A lot of baby sitting Operator's.

Supposed to be no harassment but i call bs on that. I lost my job for sticking up for 3 female co workers. He still works there. Some co workers are lazy, bossy & funney. To many bosses wen things stuff up. U will understand if u work there. Everyday something goes wrong.

Hilton Foods is a Modern Facility that has a Great Collaborative way of moving forward. It has Great Technology in place to streamline the production process. As well as a Great Social Network that starts with the Canteen & gravitates out into the widen Community.

All they care about is production. They don't care about your wellbeing. They don't care about paying people properly. You will always be put under pressure. It is a very stressful place to work 

Hilton Foods is a fantastic company with excellent upwards mobility and professional development under experienced professionals - lot of chances to experience and develop a a person in a challenging fast paced environment. 



I really enjoying working at Hilton with a different type of nation and have respect each other and care for each other’s as well and most important things Is helping each other and the people are very kind.
