Henny Penny

henny penny was my first job and did relatively enjoy it, training was done pretty good, learnt things really quick. mangers were ok however some mangers left the store for a toilet or smoke break for 15 mins straight while i was left alone at the store to serve customers by myself whilst i was still new to working on the cashier. 

they also kept me on kitchen duties for the first 4 months on the job which only had 3 hrs, this acaully made me develop my eczema again which was annoying. 

This was my first job, and overall it was a decent starting point. However, I found the workplace culture at the time to be immature, and as the only girl on staff at 14, I sometimes felt I was treated differently. Progression was slow — I worked as a dishwasher for several months before getting the opportunity to train on register. That said, there was a strong sense of community among the team, which made the experience more enjoyable despite the challenges.

Henny Penny is my first job and due to the training methods used and friendly staff I have been able to advance further in this job. Once working at Henny Penny you create a family within your store which makes the unappealing work enjoyable and worth while. It is a perfect job for a young teenager looking for work to learn valuable skills and experience.

Fast paced work place great staff great regular customers Early starts which I loved not to late finishes of a night food prep  and cooking was required and great customer service required

Learnt how to operate a register, while talking to customers and making food in a fast passed, minimal staff environment.
Was taught how to handle money.
Learnt how to open and close a store.

Job role included: cleaning dishes, washing floors, cooking food, general cleaning, as well as other standard/related jobs. 
learned: time-management skills and how to be part of a workplace team environment

From owner all the way down to the managers . Everyone was scared when area manager came into store and could only relax when she had gone. Working under somr managers was just as bad. Felt like you were being used

such great pay, such great management and bearable shifts. Really friendly staff members. The work environment can get really busy, great for people that love busy environment.

was not enjoyable, other staff were not helpful depending On the position that you apply for you start on a traineeship which is not much pay at all, Staff mostly kept to themselves

The people i worked with were nice, The management staff where very hard at times, hours were long with no over time pay. 
Overall wasn't very good, quiet hard at times.
