Bonds - It is a great place to work for a first job, as they mainly roster you on 3 hour lunch cover shifts and you don't have a lot of responsibility apart from selling. On average, I would have about 3-5 shifts a month. The only people who don't get 3 hour shifts are the Manager and the Assistant Manager. If you are a casual it is pretty flexible, but a lot of the time I would get rostered on for a shift the next day without confirming I was available. Also not very supportive if you are going away for a few weeks, even as a casual when it is allowed. The other employees are great to work with and offer a supportive environment. The manager is always under pressure from people higher up in the company, and I would say that overall they don't put their employees first and look out for them e.g. If you are one minute late from your lunch break, they will take it out of your pay. And if you are working as a key holder, they will still pay you as a normal sales assistant instead of the correct pay. The discount is very good but the overall price of clothing is expensive in general. 

Working here made it feel like I was back in high school - the area/ regional managers are all stunted in a mean girl phase. There is barely any follow up for progression - generally they just use you and make you feel bad for not living and breathing the company outside of work hours. You’re expected to give extra time, break policies cause they can’t be bothered to do the right thing, constantly undermining their staff and making them look incompetent. The company itself allows managers to make you feel bad constantly and make you fight for things you’re legally entitled to like Bereavement leave. So if you like working for a company that makes you question everything about yourself, working on days a loved one is being laid to rest and to be whipped like a horse to pick up the slack for all the lazy managers who go and sit on their butts most of the day, go work for Bonds. Their culture is disgusting.

You do not want to be working at the office, the pay is abysmal and the applications used at work are so incredibly outdated that the office is split between people who work on data, facts and know whats going on but have no control and senior leaders who are so far removed from the actual facts, data, and circle j^rk themselves without crediting people who do the work.
Senior leaders do not support you, they do not want you to succeed and there is no career progression, they will trample their own team members for their own salary bump and keep you where you are for 10-40 years because you let them take advantage of your skillset. 
I reckon the reason why they do not update the apps & software used at work is because it would put the senior managers and leaders out of a job. 
New ownership needs to purge the leadership team out because there is far too much garbage at the top preventing this business from turning a profit.

I have the opportunity to further develop my skills while producing good work can motivated to keep improving.

Like im new to the job and asked a lot about the job or make some mistake and the team leader get mad instead of try to understand and give you some advice

My good days at work are defined by feeling accomplished and that I have to work fast to reach my KPI and accomplishing something I enjoy doing that needed

There are some good people but their tenure is generally less than 5 years. Anyone I encounter with tenure over 10 years is deadwood. There is also a cohort of 20+ year leadership that is exceptionally useless- they have no significant experience in any other company and it really shows. It is the key contributor as to why the company is in year on year decline. Brands were good but increasingly irrelevant as the archaic “leadership” cannot connect with what modern consumers want- they are unfashionable. If this company is to be saved fresh capable leadership need to take over. Unfortunately, I feel any innovation that would reinvigorate the company would be shutdown by the irrelevant “lifers”. There are constant redundancies. 

Hanes Australasia would have to be the worst organisation I have worked for. They recently retrenched many people. They retrenched the wrong ones ! The issue with this organisation is senior managers. Most of the executive team have been in the job too many years. They are no fresh ideas and any new ideas and suggestion are met with brick walls. The CEO laughs at people's ideas and the CFO has wandering eyes . Am just biding time so I can leave. Do yourself a favour and go look for a job somewhere else. Month by month their figures are always in the red 

I've had several retail jobs in the past and working at Hanesbrands has definitely been the best experience for me. The workplace culture itself is fantastic with amazing managers and very solid team members. The workload is manageable and never overwhelming and any issues that arise in the store are addressed swiftly and effectively. The brand also offers their team members a wide variety of perks and benefits as well as incentives throughout the year. 

From day one, area manager chose his favorites. Young, cute. Manager very good, but feared for her job, in making decisions on her own. Company, good training, good product, poor work environment. Time management over rules customer service. If I was with a customer, middle of a large sale, and my time was up, you were told to go home, and sale lost to Manager. Record keeping of sales bogus, and you are then judged on your performance. As a casual you don't stand a chance. Manager rules.

Working as a casual for Sheridan means that the area managers do not care about you. They will consistently bring you down and make you feel as if you do not matter and that you need the company more than they need you, when really its the other way around. When you need something and attempt to speak to the area manager about it, she will shut you down and make you feel horrible.
Ridiculous company and cannot wait to leave.

Great place to work if you were permanent staff member. Unfortunately they treat all the stores the same and don't understand country stores need more of the personal touch. Area manager can make such a big impact on the whole team moral and at the moment that is quite low. It's disappointing that managers don't feel comfortable they can be honest how the team is feeling. I certainly wouldn't work there in a casual roll.
