4pm start consisiting of entry of Customer consignment notes, scanning of POD's (proof of delivery slips) & checking driver manifests.
For the most part, my job was autonomous. Most drivers have returned to base by 6pm, I would check & sort their paperwork & the rest of the evening I would be entering paperwork into the computer system & liaising with Warehouse staff if needed.
The hardest part of the job would be at Christmas time. I'm sure you can appreciate the incredible volumes of freight that move around the country at this time of year. The workload doubled which made it very difficult to complete the evenings work in the same time frame.
With any job I take on, the most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that when I walk out the door, I have done my very best to ensure that everything is completed & more importantly correct. I love the job satisfaction.

Unless they have new management i wouldn't recommend anyone to work at Hunter Express.

It was awesome to work there round 2009 to 2013 till a person named ria walker started to be rude and disrespectful and promised so many things all for none of it to happen for example permanence and even the CEO advised it as well and at the end left me no other choice but to resign because ria wouldnt let me change my hours for my son because he was starting school this year 2017.

Anyways sounds like im jus venting but at the end it was a bad experience for me.

learning to be fast on your feet and always keep moving while you're working otherwise you will start to fall behind, lifting boxes onto the conveyor belt and sending them into cages to be sent into containers, the staff and other employees are good and hardworking, hardest part of the job is constantly lifting and moving all day but at still an enjoyable job where you can stay active

.Before we start we having a meeting with crew talking about the workplace and how we can improve it and what safety hazards we gotta be aware of.

.We've got a lot of different nationality's at our work and we do work good in a team.

Overall , a friendly place to work with freedom to self organise my own day so that I could prioritize and adapt my schedule to achieve successful outcomes and fulfill my  required pickups and deliveries . I would leave the depot in the morning , having ioaded any freight that could be delivered enroute ; do my pickup and dropoff on the return .

Poor equipment , not sufficient 
Poor management 
Very poor wages

the boss was real understanding , if there was work he would let me know the day before would always get payed the wright amount. a typical day at work would start at 6 and usually be at least 9 hours, learnt every thing you could learn about removalist could

low budget all for profit company.
Management are not staff orientated, its all about how much money they can save themselves.
Hardest part of job is unpredictable hours offered.

If you want an entry roll this is for you.  If you want to progress, look for another company. And get everything in writing as they will change things or deny anything unless you can prove it.

if you wanted your postage to be well handled then you went to the wrong place.they will throw, drop, lose and misplace your stuff on a daily.and there are no benefits from working here,
