Graded haul roads, hot seated trucks, dozers and graders during crib breaks. Learnt to operate dump trucks. Good management, easy going and got on well with co-workers. The hardest part of the job was night shift. The most enjoyable part was bonding with mates after shift.

Minimal Tooling and equipment. Good People, Good Pay. Sometimes poor management though every day is different and can be quite exiting. Recommended to a newcomer to the industry though not a well seasoned coal mine worker.

A typical day was 12 hour shift, driving 230 ton trucks hauling coal or dirt. I learnt to drive many different trucks and water carts here. Very friendly and helpful co-workers. The hardest part was the long hours for 7 days straight.

Really good place to work.  Fast paced work environment but are supported by all levels of supervision and management. Provided with camp accomodation and bussing to and from site.

Office staff set a good working environment and a learning work space. My manager is very involved in my progress and encourages advancement in the business.

Colleagues all ways trying to keep safety is no 1 and production followed with BCMS and got good targets followed and a great team of people to work with.
