Grace Records Management

Grace 'was' a great workplace but there is a strong culture of misusing KPIs and lack of respect for workers.  Management will drag their feet if it affects their cash commissions. Managing Director at Grace Group, please to get out of the office for once and talk to the facilities workers and drivers without state level managers. So much dodge practices ( breach of contracts, safety and potentially breach of state public service laws in data custody) is going on that you wont find out about as it affects managers commissions and KPIs. 

On commissions, no driver, ops sup etc is willing to up-sell or find new work for Grace Records as only the store managers get the commission even tho a driver basically sealed a deal from a family member etc, it's really grubby act. 

So if you want to work for Grace, expect to just work with ok pay, nothing to happen and hope one day when managers change you'll get one that is pro company and willing help, instead of looking after own cash commissions.

SOME particular individuals at Grace Records do not have the knowledge or expertise to complete tasks to satisfactory standards. 'completed' tasks are MOST OFTEN left incomplete and in the way of main thoroughfares and walkways (BLOCKING ACCESS) for pedestrian (CLIENTS) and machine access.  There is never ANY task that is completed the first time by other individuals that is not left for another individual to clean up &/or competently finish. 
'LEARNING' is a big part of the job, and MAJORITY of individuals do not & are not interested or willing to learn ANY new tasks or put in  extra input to complete jobs on a business level.
everybody is in it for themselves NO JOB PRIDE

For a company so big and successful ive never seen such shoddy old vehicles and equipment and basically no help from management. The staff are expected to go above and beyond without basic equipment required to do the job,they will not spend a cent on improving their rundown filthy equipment and warehouses and their vehicles are falling apart and staffing levels are way below whats needed yet they make hundreds of millions a year for their upper management to take expensive trips overseas to pat each other on the back,while their staff leave in droves

Expect the world and give you nothing for it. They go on about how much the company cares. When they couldn't care less. Hard work is not rewarded and you are expected to go above and beyond for nothing.

Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. The bosses are weak and bullying is aloud to happen with no reprocussion. They pay you a wage a teenage could barely survive on.

It was really bad experience.  They hired me for 1 month commitment and future extension  possibility.  But on 4th day of work they asked me to leave as they don't need me. It was so frustrating as I payed 1 month train pass based on their commitment but now they told me not to come. No any formal discussion or explanation why they want me leave.  

Good place to work friendly staff and management but problem is managers don't last long maybe two to three years tops too much disagreement with head office. New manager comes in run it his way 1 to 2 years gone next one comes in My 18 years at Grace i went thru 10 managers most don't even how to deal what we do I don't know what their interview process for managers like 

Working at Grace Records has been a pleasure. In the span of my employment, I have engaged more with customer service through face to face and over the phone, and have been able to work on my confidence with building rapport. This job allows me to have the freedom to set up my work arrangements how I see best fit; however, can be of physical demand.

Poor management 
Being lied to constantly 
Promises never happen 
Poor pay 
Don’t bother moving thru the grades here no chance. 
While being there a short time I was told cause only been there 6 mths is why was not train further. 
I have never said that to any one but it’s the grace life 

No autonomy in any roles. All decisions are made at Head Office Director level. They aren't willing to hear alternative views and are very close minded. Unwilling to seek input from people with expertise from outside the organisation.

Management is bad and promises to help employees but never do. Expecting loads of work to be done with minimal, faulty and useless equipment and wait till the very last minute to fix any issues ongoing. Never listen to employees when asked to bring ideas or issues to the table
