A typical day at work for myself would be opening the eyes of our valued customers to product vision. Product vision is via either matching customers purchases to other products or having a conversation about customers home decore ect ect so I could point out what products would beneifit our customers, enhance our customers lives or what their friends would love for a gift ect..

I learned through Grace Bros that you cannot sell what is not known and you can sell to a customers pleasure seeking needs.
Example;
Customers who like vivid colours, will buy cloths that will stand them out in a crowd.

Sales was the hardest yet the most enjoyable part of working in retail. As with each sale, confidance grew.
Management where hands on and held an array of valuable information concerning career development and anything to do with working in an Department store such as Grace Bros.
I also loved the classy atmosphere that was full of high standards and well rounded professional manner and ethics.

When I worked at Grace Bros we often had breakfast in our store
it was catered and was fun. We were told of coming events and were made special as the customers often wrote in and the person with the most complements were given a certificate and a gift voucher.

I felt part of a big family and have remained friends with alot of the staff and managers.

We worked well as a team 

A typical day we unpacked stock displayed stock 

customers came first we served them with the product and put the sale through the register.

On many occasions I had to help someone in the store with an injury
 Older people fell over people had strokes ect .



The hardest part of the job was stocktake it was after work .

Balancing Registers, how to balance registers & how to do Start & End of day when the registers went to computers, excellent management, work place culture everyone got on with each other, trying to balance registers if you could not find why they are out so much, new friends & learning new positions

Grace Bros. was a really great department store where you can buy evrything that you need. The customers were fantastic. There was always new stock and a variety of lines that you can buy.

Liked the job and staff immensely, Hated standing long hours  all day, this is why I am looking for admin position.

By far one of the better jobs I have performed. getting to talk to the public , give advice on products and assist them to make a purchase was very rewarding

this place was not the best place to work, this place has made my life hard and i found it boring and i didnt emjoy the employers. i do wish they hadnt made me wear make up

This was my first job and I was lucky enough to sent by Grace Bros to study to become a beautician and got to work for a big Cosmetic Company Cyclax a French Company.

Had lots of friends there..Well i was looking after the china department, and worker from 9am to 5.30pm
