Bad bits-
Long hours, 12 or 14 hour shifts 5/6 days a week.
Long periods of sitting waiting for jobs. 
Cot throat attitude of other drivers. 
Meet lots of different people, some who are not nice. 
If your lucky to get Friday or Saturday night, dealing with drunk, obnoxious people. 
Constant risk of personal injury through being attacked. 
No matter how well you do the job to the book there are many other drivers willing to cheat not only customers but other drivers. 

Can be a rewarding job and have many memories of great customer experiences but these are dulled by many more unpleasant experiences. 



Friendly environment, teamwork orientated, supportive management. Team Leaders sit down with you to help you up-skill. 
Learning knowledge of QLD, computer skills, opportunity to up-skill to different departments with time. 
Benefits, good rates. Kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee and occasionally food provided. Meals and benefits provided on holidays. 
Hardest part being 24 hour shift work on rotating roster. 
Best part being surrounded by team mates in a close knit environment, never a moment to not be busy.

Gold coast Cabs good company its computer system is preety good you can download gold coast cabs app from apple store which is preety famous i learned how i can deal with drunk people and dangerous situation .taxis are preety secure security camers fitted.hard part of the job is friday and saturday night after midnight some people so drunk they don't know even where they are going lol sound is bit funny but its reality.most i enjoyable part is you can take  break any time buy a coffee for yourself and again start work.

Busy with huge new call centre, nice friendly staff & co-workers, made some nice friends, I learned a lot about the taxi industry & all areas of the Gold Coast, the hardest part of job was dealing with the drunks who wouldn't know where they were & the overnight shifts,I did enjoy using my customer service skills with all the holiday makers & helping  the elderly

I held the position of team leader and was always supported by my management team. I went through a hard time with my marriage break up and management were wonderful in their support of me.

Driving to popular tourist destinations and busy city shopping centres to scot for passengers. You learned how to deal with all walks of life. The hardest part of job was dealing with rude or drunk passengers. Meeting people coming for a holiday was exciting and often they asked where to go.

Everyday I learn new people skills, how to be patient with costumers on a very quiet day. I alway like to help other drivers if they have lot of luggage to load into the car.

a day as a rank coordinator. get to the gc airport at 6 am finish at 2:30. I am the person who helps people into taxis tells them witch one to go in and help the customer with there bag
