Through the work, I learned communication skills with regular interaction with the workers as well as being involved in various refreshing programs like Diwali parties and Christmas parties. With the cooperative and supportive supervisors, I was able to develop teamwork skills, collaboration skills and time management skills by within a group and completing the assigned task within the given time period. Moreover, I also developed cleanliness skills, waste management skills and proper handling of chemical as required in the given role.

Good company but would have liked more instruction from supervisor to train new staff.    Poor communication between head management and cleaning staff.
Standard of work is good but could be better if supervisor was clearer about expectations and had plans to meet goals at the workplace.    Felt like company was happy to just be average.  No systems in place for improvement at work, progression in the company.  
Company values were just words weren't used as a reference to judge a worker's actions.


Pretty easy going job. However, they definitely could of had a bit more organisation and better communication happening between contracted sites, Glad employees and management. Didn’t feel like much of a “team” as interview made it sound to be.
Also better training of new employees could be provided. Not just getting thrown into the deep end not even knowing the layout of facility.

On being made redundant, the company did not accept that I had worked there for 5 years but stated it was only 4.99 years, thereby not having to pay me the extra 2 weeks redundancy, There was only 1 weekend in it as I started on a Monday and finished 5 years later on a Friday,

Bullying, threats, unprofessional. Horrible stress. They’re screaming not yelling, insulting, discrimination..
The rules are not the sam for all of us as should be. If the Manager likes you, if you’re her friend you don’t have to be good at your work and usually they chose from their countries. If the think that you educated, smart, working extremely hard, no complaints she found something to insult you in front of everybody....

After managing a premium site in Melbourne for 4.99 years and turning over an extra $3m dollars in ad hoc work during that time, this company did not see fit to include an extra 2 days to my tenure (these 2 days being a weekend) when they did not retain the contract through the tender process and my position became redundant.

Glad group pay good money and hours are ok. But supervisors are quite unsupportive and tends to complain about everything even if does not exists. They do not explain new things and they act like they are the owner of the group

Head office should see all the staff at list once in 6 month. 
HR department should come cross with all the staff member’s including cleaning Maintenance and security not with manager’s only. 

A lot of responsibilities that has to be done carefully and meet the KP's and keep our client happy.
Work in this company is very nice as they help and provide everything you need as a good training and I enjoy of the good treatment to the worker.

This is a very challenging job. Never a day the same. Continue  of learning something different every day. Very approachable staff. Always listening and helping with advice. Very rewarding.
