A typical day is answering the Telephone and directing these calls to  the applicable personal. Data Entry of Time sheets for payroll upload to our Sydney Base Office. Update the different registers that are now set up which pertain to the Chinchilla Office. Handling any day to day issues that arise. Vehicle repairs and service. Hiring of Vehicles. Staff inquiries relating to their Travel & Accommodation.

There is not a hard part to my position only that I have to be proactive and prepared to assist with challenges that are put in front of me eg a change to travel and accommodation from camp to camp within the gas and mining sector.Vehicle needs to be repaired due to Site restrictions.

I have a good working relationship with all my Managers and co-workers. As well I have good communication with our Sydney Office staff which I communicate either by email or phone.

Working with this company made myself a well-experienced and well-trained skilled worker due to the series of essential Australian Skills Trainings.

From my more than 10 years of work experience as Scaffolder in almost all jobsite categories in either landbased refineries, offshore and onshore oil and gas, and from my recent job in Australia which is in Mining Industry, I may say, I am competent and well-experienced scaffolder ready to teach my knowlegde that that  I've learned from my trainings conducted my different companies and training centers locally and abroad.

 Removal of Cladding and insulation as well as reinstating insulation and cladding
 Repairing all concrete columns/structures (splitting concrete)
 Repairing fendolite that is damaged on steel structures
 Charteking steel columns/structures new and old
 Helping painters and scaffolders when needed
 Minor repairs to company vehicles and machinery

Erect & dimantle scaffold enjoy my job been scaffolding off & on since 1998.Current crew i work with are very easy to get along with & we hav not had lost time injury for 4.5 years.Safety big part of our work ethics.

Loved working for Giovenco , not to heavily corporate and great bunch of people to work with from senior management right down to the peggies , would love to work for them again in the future

we meet each day at safety tool box, discuss jobs for day,  plan the jobs in a group. discuss hazards and how to mitigate these hazards, go to work and meet at end of day to review
