Importing, exporting, files to and from Teamcentre using UGNX. Converting files to and from different formats (pro engineering, parasolid, iges, catia, etc) into UGNX. Sending and receiving files to and from suppliers,  Giving advice to all stakeholders about the best practices to achieve data quality.
I learned to use IMAN using UNIX as the operating system.
IMAN became TeamCentre and I had to learn to use it in the windows platform.  I learned to import/export datasets from and into TeamCentre using Unigraphics NX as the designing package. Our group "CAD Data Management"was in charge of migrating files from the old DTS system into teamcentre.  We analysed, troubleshoot and fixed datasets, drawings, assemblies as needed to comply with the company's requirements and to maintain the data integrity in the system. To do all this and other jobs needed to have very good time management, analytical, eye for detail and communication skills.
We shared our knowledge and helped each other with difficult tasks in our group.  Our aim was to perform to the best of our abilities.
Hardest part was when there were problems that nobody could help to solve, but, you have to find a solution and fix it.
At the end of everyday, when I looked back and realised that I had done a very good work I felt proud and that gave me job satisfaction.

I currently Work in a fast paced, structured environment. Working to Standard operating procedures and compliance with all company policies and regulations. Working within a team responsible for accuracy and quality of work. Skills gained in use of hand tools, use of autonamated guns in compliance with OH&S. On a typical day I would fit tail lights, fit roof lining, retain seatbelts and various other parts of the vehicles
I have gained certificate 2 and 3 in competitive manufacturing
I have also learned various courses like lock out course
I get along well with people and always have something to talk about with them.
I rate myself as a people person and love chatting

I will keep my opinion to my shelf .It was the best place to work they took anyone who wanted to work and trained them to be the best.
People loved coming to work the money was good the work sometimes was hard but we got on with it .Management would go out of there way to help you to do better not just at work but with home life as well .
Job security at the time was not a problem for all who worked there,over time was a part of the job and i loved doing as much as i could.I learned so much over the 27 years and i am a better person today i  made so many friends from work mates and Management was sad to leave .
I would still be there today if they did not close...

Review OHS performance, update charts, graphs and incident history.
Engage plant managers for follow-up information required.
Plan and review progress on core safety elements.
Attend plant safety meetings. (3 per week)
Prepare or continue with plant objectives and targets.

A great learning environment with lots of training and up-skilling programs.
Management were engaged and committed to safety culture change.
Co-workers supported each other and a team concept applied across the board.

Daily before you start make sure all machine are in good condition and not faulty.i learned in holden is team work.The management i can say anything,14 yrs service in holden.Some co-workers i work, who work good and some a bit lazy,but more of them i can say is they reliable.The hardest part of the job is i try to reach the quantity and because of to many reject,and after they will blame you without looking whats the problem first.The most enjoyable part of the job is, you do your job properly,you reach quantity and quality and you go home with peace of mind.

Worked with a wonderful bunch of people under some duress of job insecurity and production cuts. I left Holden looking for more seure employment and received a Voluntary Separation Package VSP

There were plentiful opportunities for me at GM to gain a wide variety of skills. A typical day at work would involve a mix of administration activities and hands on engineering. I learned a lot about how global companies operate and how to develop products robustly. My co-workers were friendly and relaxed. The most enjoyable part of the job was driving the product, travelling with colleagues and working in the assembly plant.

overall enjoyed the company and has very good opportunities to build Having worked as a team leader at GMH I have learnt the skills necessary to work in a team with a diverse group of people. Working at GMH it was necessary to perform multiple tasks and prioritize while working on the production line. WH&S was very important at GMH where I practiced good housekeeping and I completed Advanced Plant Safety as part of Certificate 2&3.

A typical day at Holden's would include talking,laughing,work group
meetings, meal breaks and of course working.
Working on a production line at times is challenging but mostly rewarding.
Management was very approachable nothing was to much trouble for them, and they didn't mind a joke or two.
Over the 19 years of working at Holden's i learned to work as a team member,to make sudden decisions when something goes wrong on the production line,to help my fellow work mates but most of all to try
and enjoy the day.

The hardest part of my experienced at Holden is when I start as furnace operator,but I survive with the help of my supervisor and team members. We work like a family,when someone is having trouble we try to help.Once a month were having barbecue with the management support.

I wish car industry will stay in Australia because its a better place to work.
