Working at French Connection has been an absolute delight, and I am thrilled to share my positive experience with everyone. Throughout my time at the company, I found myself constantly inspired and motivated by the incredible work environment and the opportunities it presented.

I had the privilege of working on numerous projects that allowed me to showcase my skills and contribute to the company's success. The company's dedication to quality and attention to detail are truly admirable.

I worked in three french connection stores. a typical day in work consisted in customer service being number one priority, customers always came first. ensuring customer satisfaction was achieved with each customer who came through the door..

Management was efficient, friendly and delegated all tasks evenly.

Co-workers were friendly, helpful and a joy to work with

Hardest part of the job was ensuring all customers were satisfied with your service and that your product knowledge was sufficient enough for each customers expectations and ensuring that they would return to the store.

The most enjoyable part of the job was achieving customer satisfaction.

Overall, French Connection was a very boring place to work. 
I personally prefer a very hands on, fast paced, high volume environment, where, as a manager I am trusted to plan, merchandise and run the store.

This was not my experience at this company. 
My daily duties were; unpack, steam, hang and then leave the racks out the back room. Hardly any customers would come in.
I was not permitted to put stock on the shop floor myself, do any merchandising, dress mannequins, or really touch anything unless it was to clean. 
I was also spoken to condescendingly or completely ignored by upper levels of management and merchandisers.
It was not a great management experience for me.

I did enjoy my time working in French Connection as the staff were extremely lovely and easy to work with. I became till trained 3 months into working there and only after I kept reminding the managers.  The managers were nice, however they would always change at least one manager every so often and the feel of management didn't feel constant. The store had new rules and changed what they expected from sales assistants frequently. I am well adapted for any changed and rise to the challenge, however we would be expected to do a lot for a store that was always short staffed.

Train yourself in this job as the manageress has NO COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR STAFF!  AND NO EMPATHY!
Favouritism rules in this company!!
And if they want to get rid of you for no reason…. Believe me ‘they will’ and if they have no reason!! They will lie!!!
The most unsupportive company l have ever worked for!! Worst place to work on the Gold Coast you will be so unfulfilled on so many levels……happy to have left

The company underpays full time staff frequently and management like to abuse their power. HR is never helpful and the staff turnover is high as the job has minimal career prospects. Management is often not competent and will make employees do their work.

The company is broke 
All state managers will sit in food court for hours and get paid for their expenses doing nothing

Broadway store you will have at least 4 people visiting you on daily basis telling you they are your boss, annoy you 

They force you to buy as the store is not making any money

Corrupt managers

Toxic environment with inexperienced people on all levels. Higher management would rather be hostile with staff instead of supportive and encouraging. Would not recommend. It is not ok to chase customers and force yourself onto them, it’s embarrassing and degrading. 

Gave me very valuable life lessons as well as giving me the advantages of learning new skills which will influence me now as well as in later life. I take on board everything i'm told by the hierarchy of the business as i know what they say is correct and will more than likely help me. 

was a great start into learning about building customer relationships. was very fast paced which i enjoyed and loved always having something to do. managers where great and all employees had great team working ability. every day was different so kept it interesting
