Frankie and Bennys

During working at Frankie & Benny's I improved my communication skills. I started here as a busser, then moved my way up to a hostess then I moved onto waitressing. I loved working here and making relationships with our regular customers but I have also had an interest in business so I decided it was time to start a business apprenticeship. Our management team was very friendly and was not only there to manage you but was always there for you whenever you had a problem outside of work. I built a good relationship with all my team. I loved being part of an active team, at times it was empty and at the time it was manic, I loved working under pressure and feeling like I was providing a service for people to enjoy.

On a typical day it would be quite easy going with nice flow but a lot of tasks kept being re-set throughout and building up making it difficult. I learned customer service and that i can do things i didnt know i could. The management was okay but i never got properly paid besides the first time and things were a bit over the place. My co-workers were lovely and very helpful but on occasion some were a bit judgemental towards others.The hardest part of the job was to keep everyone happy and get a certain task by the end of my shift considering my shift were not long. The most enjoyable park of the job was the hole experience and getting to know what it was like to work in my favourite restaurant.

Although work was fun most of the time, it was a fast paced environment with a lot of tension between staff.

The GM used to talk out of his backside and actively cause trouble between staff members, hence the tension. 

The pay was poor and sometimes you could travel all the way to work to be sent home instantly as you’re not needed. Or turn up to work when it’s been busy and be expected to clean other people’s mess while they take their break.

One of the AM’s was a real mouthy cow and she used to treat the staff very badly (not sure if she’s still there)

Would rather go on the doll than work there again

Working at Frankie's & Bennys allowed me to develop as an individual. My job role as a waitress meant communicating with customers and team members frequently, this resulted in the development of my communication skills and confidence within the work place. My job role allowed me to work closely with other co-workers and also closely with the management team at Frankie's &  Bennys. A typical day at work was ensuring all guests had a pleasant experience from their arrival into the restaurant all the way through to their departure.

When working for Frankie & Benny's i was only 17 and still in college. However the short time that i spent here gave me an idea of a full time job within this sector. My duties here were; clearing tables being fast and keeping a high standard. Being customer focused, taking direction quickly and efficiently and using my initiative were the skills i took onto my new job from this. The most enjoyable part of the job was working in a fun team, enjoying the atmosphere and music and most definitely the food.

I didn't like working there because they treated us very badly because they would swear at us all the time and shout at us quit often for no reason. When working there they belittled me and i didn't have a good experience working their . The managers would cut your  hours under the min amount of time on the contract. The most enjoyable part was the co-workers the mangers were very negative

Frankie and Bennys is a rubbish company to work for. There is no organisation within the company, management is rubbish from head office down to in store, there's few managers who know what they are doing. The hygiene rating is poor. On a standard day I would be doing 12 hour shifts and sometimes it was difficult to get a break because managers haven't planned the shifts accordingly.

Never come back I was going to deal with that in court but I just wanna move on in my life without them very disappointed 
Most of them they just bulling 

Intense, under paid, exhausting, bad management. didn’t feel like i was paid enough for the job i did, and only received the minimum wage once i was 18. considering the pace of the environment it was underpaid 

Productive and fun environment to work in. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Well organised by management.Would happily recommend to a friend looking for a job.
