When I started in television in the black and white days, with on the job training being the norm.
Every day was different, interesting, creative, often very physical.
Now the accountants have taken over One cameraman does 3 peoples jobs ie controlling 3 robotic cameras and floor managing a news show the pressure can be immense, and the culture of internal politics was not to my liking.

My role at Fox Sports is my first since graduating from university and it has given me a perfect base on which to build a career in sports journalism. 

While the hours are long and inconsistent, the job has allowed me to build a solid relationship with the majority or major sporting clubs in Sydney and has allowed me to develop the necessary tools to become a successful reporter.

Not a bad place to work when starting out as a junior. My salary was way to low though. Had daily stand up and used Kanban board so it was pretty well-managed. However for their basic website that I was asked to build often lack creativity and quite repetitive. Under the custom CMS there was little to innovate. Hence why I moved on to a different job.

Fox Sports is a good company to work for.

Good salary and not too stressful work.

Management is generally supportive of their subordinates.

Good company culture - people celebrate your birthday etc.

Fox Sports is a great company to work for. The people and systems they have in place make for an enjoyable working environment. The work is flexible and content is unique and constantly changing

Journalism is a dying industry. When I went there for my internship however, every area was extremely welcoming and informative. Really helped formulate where I wanted to go in life

As I was with the voice at the time, I was obviously treated very well, but even the workers there were treated with respect and professionalism, and you have to have respect for that!

Fun and fulfilling place to work. would recommend to anyone who has an interest in sport and media. Staff and management all worked together well. Lots of bonding time outside the office

Fox is a very nice place to work, smart people, challenging projects that affect millions of lives. It is all about sports, you will enjoy it very much if you into sports!

The company provides strong role models and mentors for junior employees and provide exceptional training and advice. A great environment to work within.
