There is nothing at all I could recommend about Flick Pest Control. They are not interested in their employees or Customers only the amount of money they make for the company. The management have no idea how to manage people. Management lie example they get their Subcontractors to go out and measures up termite jobs etc. Then writes up a quote up for the termite treatments at the cost to the subcontractor let's say the job is worth $5000 and if the job is accepted then the subcontractor is meant to do the job and is meant to get 50% of what the job is worth. But what management does is get the full-time employees to do the job and they only have to pay them $200 dollars for a day's work instead of paying the subcontractor $2500 when the subcontractor asks management how the quote went, they just say no, we didn't get the job. Another thing they do is send you out to do a job and if the client does not pay then they don't pay the subcontractor. although the subcontractor has used his chemicals, fuel insurance etc. 

A typical day at my job is 9-5 with a 30 minute lunch break, I am on queue for calls all day and deal with technicians, customers and emails. I enjoy the staff at flick but I feel the management style is not for me. There is poor training and communication and more often than not I feel like I’ve been thrown into the deep end when given a new task. I have expressed my concern about being under qualified but instead of support I am just meant to “catch up”. This has been the hardest part for me. Working 14 hour days with no overtime or compensation is not the life I want to live. The hardest part has been trying to keep up while not knowing what I’m doing or being taught how to do it properly.
The most enjoyable part of my job is dealing with other staff and trying to learn from them, because my manager has failed to support me .

Terrible place to work. Work is very stressful due to extremely bad management.

Regional Management and Branch Management has clearly failed in planning and managing the company with frequent role changes creating a lot of chaos and stress to the already overworked employees leading to the highest employee turnover I have seen in any workplace. 

Regional Management tolerates workplace bullying and also fails to recognise talent and qualifications which leads to underemployment and unfair role distribution among the corporate staff. 

Avoid this place at all costs if you value your mental health and peace of mind.

Worst company to work for : reason is high expectations of the team leaders  of someone brand new to the industry . Team leaders talk and treat you really bad. Runs are poorly organised the operations manager doesn't know how to organise anything . Stressful when you get overloaded with work and you just start in the industry and you leave a couple of jobs Because you generally can't get to them and you tell them the reason and it's not good enough team leaders need to be put out on the run to see how stressful it is out on the road before they pass judgement on how long a job should take . Again MANAGEMENT IS THE MAIN ISSUE HERE . ESPECIALLY TEAM LEADERS!!!!

While most of the people are great, the management is shocking. They continue to hire outside supervisors and expect regular staff to train them(I was there for 4 lots of management and that was in under 2 years.) The pay is very average. The higher ups don't listen to complaints and often sweep thing under the rug before HR hears.
They go through staff like no tomorrow and I have never seen so many tears in the one place. I would not recommend flick to anyone unless you are looking for another excuse to kill yourself.

Before resigning from a full time government job the Manager guaranteed me 4days a week, support from management , training, and eventually a vehicle to take home, little less money but less stress they told me but quiet the opposite occurred, for the 1st 4weeks I was working 5days for 10/12hours per days, very little training, no support, then my days reduced to 2 days a week which caused me financial hardship and stress if that wasn't enough one of the supervisor began to bully me.

This employer was rude arrogant and very disrespectful. I was pregnant when I worked for them and asked for time off to go to doctor appointments, (an hour of time) I was not allowed to take this time off. I was pricked with a needle during this time as well while collecting sharps containers as proper training was not given and the right PPE was not available in my truck. The hours were long but the pay was decent. It is not the kind of employer you want as a single parent

After being with this company for a while now you would think that i would have a uniform to be apart of the company, but sadly NO, Also being promised a company phone, still nothing and having to use my personal phone is just plain ridiculous!! Not to mention that when i do get my run for the day, the notes say that 'you must call a day beforehand to organise a chaperone'. Not organized, nor are tgey on the same page, but will pull you up if you do not get your run complete.

Given too many jobs for the day, learned that it’s hard to have a day off, manager speaks to you like your 12 years old with no compassion, especially when you lose a loved one and need to attend service, you don’t even get a ‘sorry for your loss’ all you get is ‘ you need to provide evidence’.  And no compassion if you injure yourself at work, waited a whole month before pyhsio and was still never asked how I was doing. Not a family/life job.

Alone out on the road driving doing your run and helping your customers

Management don’t trust them they will lie to you
