Fish and Chip shop

A typical day at work which was usually 2 or 3 shifts a week, was getting there and all the other employees greet you. That always made my day. I loved being the cashier, it wasn't that big of a job but I would always love it because you're the first person people would see as they walk through the door and that's a lot of pressure. Who knows I could've just made the customers day as well.

The fish and chip shop was a over all good place to work. The staff were all friendly. The shop and equipment were always clean. Working at the fish and chip shop was a pleasant overall experience. 

I leant how to cook and prepare different types of food and beverages and i leant valuable skills that now help me in everyday life.

a typical day at work for me is getting to work heading out to the front make sure everything is clean and everything filled ready for the day ahead. Head out the back and start getting all the food and stuff ready for the day and make sure that everything is turned on and heated for the day

I work at a fish and chip shop, mainly working the cash register. But I’ve learned how to cook the food on the grill, taking phone calls and picking the orders. The owner is lovely and so is the manger. however the pay is not the best for a 15 year old.

hours were more split shift, pay was unfair, managers did not know how to run the shop. whilst working there it was a common place to get lunch but the managers where unorganised which made it hard to work there.

Really laid back and community orientated,was like working with friends and family. Flexible hours normal day was 10-2 and then 5-9 (lunch and dinner shift) Monday-Wednesday and then 4-10 on Saturday.
Co workers were lovely to work with, most enjoyable part of the job was the social aspect

The Innes boat shed Batemans  bay, is a workplace that I would definitely recommend to my friends, flexible leave, friendly hard working staff. it is always busy so there is always something to do and you are never just standing around.

in my experience,team happiness spurs productivity and making work environment a happy place. we also wanted to movtivate our team to be as  productive as possible, without pushing them too far and stressing them out.

Great Family Business and enjoyed customer service and pr skills i obtained and meeting many famous people..Enjoyed cooking and customer satisfaction.

i was paid cash in hand, of the books. they didnt pay me for my first shift and then fired me after 3 shifts because my mother asked what my salary was
they didnt train me
